"Our food was delicious. Shrimp poboy and onion rings were delicious as was the bbq shrimp. Oysters for $1 each is hard to beat and they were delicious too!! Spinach artichoke dip was so so. It seems slightly on the high side price wise; however it is very noticeable that it is all fresh and homemade so I am comfortable paying more for better quality. I saw several bad reviews for service which can always make for a miserable experience but our server Jackson was “Johnny on the spot” and we never had to ask for anything. Food came out very timely and was hot and most importantly, correct. I’m glad to finally have a place in Shreveport bossier to get some good louisiana cooking without having to do it myself! Ralph and Kacoos is just not good, I don’t care what anyone says. Try Franks instead!"

"Great for your soul, not for your diet! Came to this hood to help a friend move but I was an hour early. Went to Bistro Francais to grab a cup of coffee and kill some time. When I walked in I felt like I stepped out of Brooklyn and into Paris (well almost anyway). The owners did a great job decorating and the atmosphere and energy in the restaurant is friendly and inviting and they did not skimp on the decor. I ended up getting the French Toast, a side of bacon and a **** to go along with my coffee! Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. And I mean everything! From the olives on the **** to the berries on the French Toast each bite and sip hit the spot. I'm glad my friends moved close by so I have a reason to come back to this place. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu."

"Small quiet sushi joint, perfect for a date night. Wing around 8 and sat at the Sushi Bar. Server was very nice and friendly. Had really good cold Sake (has had a little ice chamber to keep it cold) miso to start soup and tofu. The sushi reels were made fast, and they were amazing! That was reasonable. We both really enjoyed each other. Will be back"

"if they want to go to the brunch in a nightclub, this is the place of the dj had a good set list, but they can forget to have a conversation. for birthdays they will make a whole production with the Roman candles and the servers that keep signs, it is something “blow the whistle” flat ridiculousness. our server was terrible — he forgot our drinks even after eating and it took another 5 minutes just to get a hot sauce. Eating was just okay, nothing spectacular. I miss blacksmiths."

"This was my first visit to the Lafayette Village Grill. Everything was great and and enjoyable. A lot of restaurants are cutting back on service and quality during this Corona virus, however our restaurant staff were pleasant and seemed eager to help with our questions and meet our needs as diners. The food was delicious and plentiful. Two of the three of us there ended up with enough leftovers from our lunch to have another wonderful meal later at home"

"This place has been replaced by a new cafe. I ordered a sandwich and the inside was totally frozen when I bit into it. Like an ice cube. I had to throw the whole thing away and was not able to eat until 2 hours later, by which point I was extremely hungry.No longer serving bagels or açaí or most of the menu items that they prepared. The staff is nice, as always, but the menu has totally gone down hill. The inside is characterless: the aesthetic death of midtown has found a place in Morningside Heights."

"I suppose my review should be prefaced with the fact that the pecan citrus salad I ordered was HUGE! It was seriously the largest salad I have ever seen and the only salad I've ever ordered worth its price $10.95 . The salad came in a huge guitar-pick-shaped bowl and my friend noticed the bowl was even larger than my head! It was. The complimentary citrus vinaigrette was the perfect balance between sweet and sour. I loved every bite! This was seriously one of the best brunches I've had in LA. I would return, not just for another bottom -less salad, but also for a stack of their thick pancakes! Those things looked delicious!"
