"We have eaten here a half dozen times and always enjoyed it. I see the one star reviews here and just don 't agree perhaps the restaurant has undergone changes recently. We recently brought four friends with us and they all enjoyed it as well so we aren 't crazy! As others have said this is a proper sit down restaurant. Not sure where the 'street food ' aspect comes in I will admit I can 't speak to the authenticity of the food, but we regularly eat Indian and we think it 's good. Only thing we were unhappy with was the Aloo Paneer which was very bland. Portions can vary but overall decent value. Service can be tricky too. Have had the same waiter be very inattentive and slow one day, and then a pleasure the next time we were there."

"This place should close. Worst meal I've had in decades. Had onion bahji battered oily mess fried in oil that was too cold. Gobi Manchuria what is this dish, battered cauliflower poorly fried covered in fake sweet and sour that is way too salty, disgusting. Kerman Nan garbage served in oil soaked undercooked dough with holes in it, no one should serve this. Fish kuorma and chicken jalfrezi cooked in the same bad sauce with little variation. Even the server couldn't tell the difference and called one vegtables? Pickles literally the ones you buy in bulk at food max. Can of sprite, unopened and dropped on table for three dollars. You couldn't pour it? Creepy guy in hat stalking tables seems like a clueless owner? Two young servers both kind and trying. Protein quality was decent, but ruined by preparation. I wasted my time and money. You shouldn't. Literally go anywhere else."

"The food was good, although our naan bread was not hot. The meat combo was enough for two people. I ordered delivery and it took an extra 30 min from the time they said it would arrive, we live 6 min away from the restaurant. Im sure they forgot about our order when I called at the time the delivery was supposed to arrive... then he said oh the driver is leaving now... right. I tried to call the restaurant regarding this issue and the lady basically blew me off, starting she would call me back, I've yet to hear from them. Terrible customer service!"

"This place is great. They are passionate about the food they are cooking a day serve with it pride. When I have gone to eat thee I've been given free samples and soup each time. A group of friends and I often order delivery from here as they have a varied, high quality menu, and timely delivery service. For the best stuff ask what they like and give it a shot. "that was our first Indian food experience in alabama since we moved here. we always have our stack-lovers we order when we are looking for Indians. our favorite and what will let us come back is chicken tikka masala, but this one had an overwhelming amount of swirling in it. We've never seen this before in this court, and unfortunately it was all we could taste. it was also incredibly sweet, and unfortunately just not pleasant. the saag distributor was simply ok, not much taste and we ended to season it yourself. naan was in order, quite normal. something new we tried was the gobi manchurian. that was really very tasty, but would recommend to order it only in the restaurant because it becomes soggy fast when they do not eat it fresh. not her fault, only a part of the saucy fried food when they pack it. for us that was not, and we will continue to search for our visit. but the restaurant is sweet and the workers are sweet. possible other dishes will be a better experience than what we had."

"We enjoyed this restaurant for years, but sadly the quality has fallen off dramatically the last few orders. The lamb is now quite tough and chewy, and some of the other food tastes like it's well past expiration. Tonight it seemed like our whole meal had been sitting out for more than a day. The staff have been apologetic each time we mention it, but they nonetheless seem uninterested in doing anything to rectify the situation for us in practical terms. We'll be looking elsewhere from now on."

"It happened very rarely that we dined in a place twice while travelling. At Purnima, we dined in three times. The second best Bangladeshi restaurant in North America imo. The food is simply amazing, as good as Bangladesh (trust me when I say this). The place is neat. Also the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Let me give you two examples. We were running a little late in car rentals at Atlanta airport. When we started I saw we 'd barely make it to there before closing time. So I called them and asked how should we proceed. We were replied 'ভাই আপনারা অর্ডার দিয়ে দেন, যাতে আমরা খাবার রেডী করে রাখতে পারি। আপনারা অনেক ক্ষুধার্ত, যাতে আমাদের এইখানে এসেই খাওয়া শুরু করতে পারেন। ' Next day at dinner, my daughter wanted a few extra pieces of cucumber, and unfortunately there were out. Usually my daughter is a very gentle one, but she started a very angry tantrum. Someone from the restaurant went to nearby grocery, bought moe cuke, peeled sliced it and served to my daughter. They went way out of their way to satisfy a cranky toddler. I cannot express how much I 'm thankful for this gesture!! I hope you can see how much I loved this place. I know for sure where to eat next time I 'm near Atlanta."

"I tried this place on the way back from Santa Rosa, beautiful location in the hilly Mill Valley, with very limited parking, first I thought it was a North Indian restaurant, but after eating there I can certainly say that the cook is?t North Indian . The food was average, slightly overpriced for the small portion size, ordered wiper tikka, it was ok, chutney came in a really tiny container. Her Daal makhani and Kadhai wiper were okay, but not authentic, aloo paratha had turmeric in him and the basil garlic naan saw more like a Tandoori roti with a sprinkle of basil herbs not the fresh basil?. The masala chai was not completely boiled and was so bad for 4$ per cup?. The worst thing was that he gave us Basmati rice, which were not completely cooked, we thought it was free, but later he saw us charged for it, he also charged us for the onions and the green chilis, which is free in most places? and they needed a long time to bring the food? Don't you think I'm ever back?"
