"It 's probably unfair to rate a place based on expectations and one visit. We were there for a family reservation (10 after a baptism. I was thinking a Paxon Hollow dining venue would be like Llanerch Country Club. Although the ballroom for large events looked truly spectacular, the restaurant is a small tavern with a tavern menu. Luckily in May, the weather was perfect and we had a fabulous table on the porch. The view of the pond and links was perfect. However they seemed to be understaffed (a typical result of Covid and service was abysmally slow. While my husband said his burger was great , my eggplant parmesan was dry and over baked. During lunch, we had to keep asking for water refills to drink and basics like cheese for other pastas. The restrooms were ok, but not on par with what you find at a lovely property, in an upscale area, where there is obvious money. Fabulous: Location Not so good: Service. Tavern instead of restaurant."
