"It is hard to find authentic and affordable Thai food in Manhattan, let alone UES. However, this place really serves some of the most tasteful Thai dishes I had in the city. It does not compare authentic Thai cuisine, but it comes quite close. We started with roasted Calamari as an appetizer. It was definitely very good, but I felt it could have used more spices and spices to bring out the Calamari flavor. Some Tamarind or Cayenne pepper would have really brought more dimension to the dish, but overall I had no other complaints. The cook was right. I recovered from tense vocal cords and coveted soup. The ground pork Tom yum soup was the medicine I needed to heal my throat. It was bright, savory and had the correct amount of acid and spices. The crispy Winton chips added a depth of taste and texture to the plate, a detail I really appreciated. I also tried my friend roasted chicken dish and it was edible. The chicken looked a little undercooked, and it was rather a dimension. The sauce was definitely there to add a kick, but it could have been spicier. I lacked a lot of taste profiles that are traditionally Thai cuisine, so it would have been great to see it in this dish too. Overall, I had a great culinary experience. My throat was not too good, and the servers gave me graciously hot water and lemon to drink instead of cold water. The aesthetics of the restaurant was also beautiful, and I really appreciate it wasn't hot in the restaurant. I would definitely come back here to try more from their dishes. I would be even more important for her wonderful hospitality."
