"I keep coming back. Mi Rancho is a long-time favorite restaurant to which I keep returning. I often wonder why it 's not rated more highly among the Washington area 's TexMex restaurants, for I find that the food is consistently good, with many special items that cannot be found in other Mexican restaurants (e.g. the seafood soup, mesquite grilled fish, etc. , and their paper thin tortilla chips are the best I 've ever eaten. The atmosphere, is laid-back and festive, great for families and couples alike--especially the huge outdoor dining area. My only criticism is that their margueritas seem to come purchased in a bottle premixed, rather than freshly made. All in all it 's nice to find a real restaurant located away from the plasticity of Silver Spring 's Franchise Row."
