"The prices might seem high to some, but trust me, it's all worth it. Their salsa verde is fantastic and adds the perfect kick to any dish. However, the red sauce is a letdown; it's too overpoweringly hot and lacks flavor on its own. But if you mix it with the salsa verde, it balances out the heat a bit. They also serve Mexican Coke and Sprite, which Roberto's doesn’t offer. On the downside, they don’t have horchata, but that’s not a concern for me since I don’t like it.
As for the Mexican restaurant across the food court, La Taqueria? Their time is running out with this new contender around. Seriously though, avoid going there.
Final Verdict:
Pros: See the checklist at the start of the review, reminiscent of SF Mission-style Mexican food.
Cons: Prices may be high at first glance, but it's justified by the quality and portion size. The red sauce is too spicy, although the salsa verde helps mitigate that. They don’t have horchata, but that doesn't bother me.
Suggestions: Maybe consider adding horchata... even if I’m not a fan, I get why others might want it.
Return Factor: 10/10!"
