"Am I willing to pay $20 for a bowl of poke at a vibrant foodie market in a hip neighborhood? Of course I am. Happy to. But what I expect to receive is a decent, maybe even great, poke bowl. This place really let me down. Everyone at my table laughed when I showed them how little fish was in my bowl. (A $5 H Mart sushi box has six times the protein than the bowl I paid for. I also told them specifically no onions. I love onions, but I can't eat them right now because of a gnarly medical diagnosis. Were there onions? You bet your a there were! As much as the fish. There are soo many positive food stories at the R. House. Hilo isn't one of them."
