"Visited The Manship Wood Fired Kitchen for dinner, Dustin set me up with a beer and took my order. Appreciated the fact he told me I could get a half-sized salad versus the full wedge. I must say, this was the absolute BEST wedge salad I've ever enjoyed...wished I had ordered the full size option {sigh}. The Steak Sandwich was OK, nothing really exciting and the large chunks of steak made it difficult to enjoy the sandwich. The horseradish sauce was a nice compliment, not overpowering. I was not a fan of the fries, the kitchen went overboard with the Truffle Salt and it overwhelmed them. Overall a nice meal and the service was excellent. If I lived in Jackson I would frequent this spot!"

"It was my 2nd time for our after work party for Ingram Micro. We had delish food and plenty of tasty drinks from their extensive list. Our server was very attentive and even brought us rounds of ice water at the end of the night, as it was really hot out. Very thoughtful. Love the patio !"

"I have a gluten allergy, and this is really the happiest thing I've ever eaten before my allergy develops. This restaurant is so authentic and almost everything on the menu can be made gluten-free. Michelle (our server) took care of us from the very beginning. They make gluten-free pasta in the house. My pasta was the most delicious meal I've had for years. This is an absolute must for everyone with a gluten allergy. I'll come back as soon as possible."

"I wanted to eat with friends on nye. very beautiful interieur and great seating. the service was easy to order as the evening was busy. it took a while until the pizza came, but it was very good. we have the different types and they were all solid choices. for dessert we got the tiramisu, which was also quite delicious. a great NYE dinner!"

"we arrived very early on Thursday (11 o'clock) . there were no one when we arrived, then only a few patrons in the bar. consider it, there was no amount, service was not as good as we expected. I think the server would have been a bit more attentive. the food was great! that was my first time here. I noticed that the room in the back would hold about 45-50? I want to talk to someone about booking for a big group for lunch in the future."

"We wanted to celebrate and decided to come here. We were seated upon arrival and put in a quite corner of the room. The food was excellent, was cooked to perfection. I would suggest, though, there wasn't enough staff for the first 30 minutes we were there so servers were having a hard time taking care of all their customers. Still, everyone working there was very pleasant. My wife and I had a delightful evening. It was our date night (after 36 years of marriage) and was great! Thank you all!"

"I used to order from this place when it was called Penelope's so I decided to give Rony's a try. I ordered a large plain pizza for take out. That's it. A simple order. Got the pizza burned. Took it back inside to get my money back. Was offered another large plain that was already in another box, but I didn't want it. (How long has it been sitting there? Who knows, who cares The owner, I'm guessing, starts talking back to me when I simply stated I wanted my money back. Mind you, I was not being hostile at all. He just didn't want to waste money and throw out the pizza. Maybe don't burn the pizza for your customers next time. So get this, he said it was my fault and that I should've asked for a lightly cooked pizza. Really? You mean that I have to call and order a lightly cooked pizza every time because you don't know how to make pizzas? So, please tell me, who calls and orders a burned pizza? Instead of apologizing, he keeps running his mouth and tells me how he has lots of customers (yet his parking lot is empty). I feel sorry for the fools who order anything from this dirty pizza place. By the way, what do you think he did with the burned pizza he gave me after I returned it? Do you think he threw it out? Nope! He put it on top of his oven and will probably try to pass it off on the next customer. I wouldn't give Rony's pizza to a starving rat, it's that bad."

"Forgot to take a photo of the presentation because it was THAT good! Delicious Cajun Shrimp Scampi! Very flavorful, mildly spicy for Cajun, which is just how I like it. A little kick but nothing overwhelming. Cool location over looking the old Capitol in Kentucky. It could use a little updating with their cloth booths, but overlooking that aspect the food is very tasty! I’d definitely come back if the rest of the menu is as tasty as this entree!"

"We attended mother's day buffet. Food was OK but not top notch. i expected, but didn't see, pasta station, omelet maker, etc. Service was fair, but acceptable. What was not acceptable to me was an included, and hidden, 22% tip for a buffet. We won't be going back."

"It was a bit confusing as to how it worked. We were in the lounge section and someone âpointed â us to where our table was. Then it took at least minutes for the server to come. We had to ask how to proceed. Although she was very nice we had to keep looking for her for help. Walking across the entry to get to the food was frustrating as there were people coming in, people leaving and those with full plates of food that we had to navigate through. Then no one picked up our dirty plates! You definitely needed more servers for the amount of people there. My suggestion is each room should have their own food station which would alleviate all the confusion. You wouldnât lose any seating as the tables would replace the food station."

"I have placed my order this morning at 11:28 as I have recommended delivery time followed by slice of 60-75 minutes. our lunchtime starts at 12:25 and I knew there was a chance that our order could come up to 12:45. Once I received a warning that our order came after 1 o'clock, I called the restaurant and asked them to hurry our order so that the students were not hungry as I ordered for them. at 11:45 a.m. the woman at giovanni assured me that we would get our delivery at 12:30 a.m. at 12:47 I called the restaurant again and said the order was already on the way and would arrive in a few minutes. at 1:17 I called the disc, as instructed, because I had not received my order. the representative called twice the restaurant and was sure that the order was in 20 minutes, and then only 5. I was refunded only $10 and had no pizza for hungry students. Once the pizza came, it was best lukewarm, and the quality is not what I expected from giovanni’s. I would not recommend that someone use discs or order of giovanni if they have starving or randomly need food within a two-hour period. we finally got the pizzas (we only ordered 2 and nothing special) at 13:38 clock 130 minutes after my order."

Hard to pin down exactly, but there are a slew of these new restaurants (mostly Italian-esque) with great looking menus and a certain clinical, kitschy ambiance (I realize that sounds somewhat oxymoronic) that are super overpriced with food that’s mostly tasteless. "We were in the city of NYC for a few nights. We ordered from a few local places, and our best experience was with Frank 's. We didn't know what was good, so we ordered some items in the first night. After a not so great experience that was ordered by a local diner for breakfast, we went back with Frank's in the second night. My children who are super picky have torn off the pizza and chicken fingers. The salads were fresh and delicious, and the portions were very generous. Hoagies also get a thumb. I was surprised that the Fried Shrimp Platter was basically popcorn shrimp, but my son ate it so that a thumb also gets. My daughter loved her spaghetti and meatballs. Overall delicious and comfortable."

"six of us have sung to celebrate an event. we never felt hurried when we worked our way through drinks, laundry, a few appetizers and snacks. our waiter was attentive, but not transferred. that we sat around a small table, as a larger party occupied the more accommodating tables. the cocktails received a high note from each. the service and knowledge flow came from sommelier. the wine list il posto is extensive, but for most manageable. we had preferred and chose options to discuss with the sommelier, which seemed completely unknown with the list and most varietals. he left the table twice to be aware of the lists we had in our hands. this aspekt of the dinner proved to be disappointing. we ordered wein on the basis of our knowledge and accepted that we have overpaid essentially on our selection and experience. our choice, without doubt, but the sommelier gave no value; he was just not knowledgeable. Finally, our waiter was supported by another person responsible for the delivery of brot, drinks, some appetizers, etc. the delivery was more to Dennys than we expected here. yet our waiter has prepared himself with a grandiose demeanor, knowing and helpful."

"The girl who answered the phone had an attitude. My order was placed thru the Slice app which offered a curbside pickup option. When I arrived and called to let them know she was rude and said we don 't do curbside and I said the app had the option and she said I don 't know why , like It was an inconvenience. "So the family and I went for dinner and it was delicious we had , calamari ,clam chowder , calzone and a pizza ... Let me tell you if you like calzones like I do it's top tier in taste it comes with dipping sauce that was fire .. they made a mistake with the pizza but it wasn't a big deal they just added pineapple but I was my fault I told them pineapple at first but then the kids just wanted pepperoni it was delicious and they even gave us a free dessert. You won't regret eating here!!!!"

"we were here on a Saturday night, so it was busy and full. Nevertheless we sat immediately (preservations in advance on open table). our server was marc, a friendly, chattering guy with impressive efficiency and a seeming 6. sense for when our table needed something. I didn't know until we sat that fattoria is the sister restaurant for northside kitchen (one of our favorites). the atmosphere is quite casual and moderately loud, but incredible food. the prices are on the high side (most pasta elements about $35 40). but pasta is made to house and soou good! aged ribeye is $88. humongous excellent wine selection. the brot is made in northside kitchen; I thought the focaccia was pretty dry. the combed olive oil helped however. the Fattoria salad changes with the availability of ingredients, so the description is vague for purpose. I am glad that we (although for 2 to share) bc it was delicious (figs and beet and carrots on greens). I had lamm ravioli and my man chose rabbit tortellini (both hand made pasta,) both phenomenally good. we're coming back!"
