"This is the second time I've been to this spot (8/27/23), with the first time being around this same time last year. I enjoyed it the first time and it was great this time around as well. House of Lasagna is located in a great part of town, the portions are big, the food is good--and although the prices may seem a bit high--they're actually quite reasonable when you consider the portions and quality. The service at this spot has been well-above average both times. The staff are engaging and interactive--about as much as you'd like. You and your table pretty much set the pace on how often they check in on you and talk to you. The ambience here is great, though that may just be my personal preference. The restaurant is sunken just below street level and the lighting is such that you can easily see everything and everyone you need to, but you don't feel over exposed--the perfect dimming. Beyond this, I also enjoy the layout of the restaurant, as they work perfectly with the floorplan they have. The decorations are also nice. Overall, I love this place, and it's a restaurant I will continue to come to for special occasions or for entertaining friends from outside of the city."
