"Went to upstairs handicapped bathroom, twice. Both times it was filthy dirty, even though I mentioned it to the manager after first time. Trash can overflowing and paper towels all over floor. They need to monitor that. Fancy restaurant should not have dirty toilets. Do better."

"Classic French cuisine in the lively Newbury street in Boston. The staff was friendly and the ambience was very French. The butter from Normandy, France, was an unannounced delicacies that we had something too much before our real food. The butternut squash soup was delicious and the sweet beet salad. Duck breast was tender and tasty, salmon was boiled to the right softness. For $42.5/person, the three course lunch menu was certainly an attractive price given its Michelin level cooking. Great food!"

"I took a friend to this restaurant for her birthday on Wednesday, May 17th. I looked online at the pre-fixe menu which I had enjoyed several times in the past, and selection looked good. When I arrived we were given the regular menu, so I asked waitress for the pre-fixe one. She said she was only there two weeks and checked. She came back and said there was no pre fixe. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he wasn't in. Waitress was the only one working that night. It was slow when we arrived for 6:00 reservation, but got busier as it got later. Service was a little slow but we didn't blame her. When we finally got the bill I paid by cash because we would have been there another twenty minutes with a credit card transaction. As I got up to leave my jacket got stuck on the back of my chair and ripped. I will say the food was good, but I resent that the restaurant does not update their website. Later, I remembered that I had gone there about two years ago with a friend on a Sunday evening. When I asked for the pre-fixe they said they didn't have it on the weekend. At that time I spoked to the manager and pointed out that the website stated prefix was every day, 4-7 p.m. He didn't seem too concerned but when the bill came we weren't charged for dessert. Now it is two years later and they still haven't updated their website. This is not right and I would't want anyone else to be misled. I left a message about this on the restaurant's website comment section on Thursday morning, but I haven't heard back from anyone."

"Had a first date experience here. Asked to have wine suggested to us and the server asked if we trusted him. Naturally, we said yes, and based on a couple questions he brought back a great tasting bottle for us to share a dessert over. Would definitely come back for future dates or special occasions!"

"Been wanting to try this place for a while but figured it would be crazy busy on a weekend, I was wrong. Went for brunch on Saturday, booked a table just to be sure and as it turns out, there was no need, plenty of free tables. Staff were absolutely lovely and super friendly but service was slow. There was only one young man doing food, so it took 40 minutes for our order to arrive but the waitress was apologetic, so we gathered this was not the norm. Did not treat ourselves to pastries this time, but there was a magnificent offering available. I think I will return for lunch during the week though as they do a selection of baguettes which sounded amazing per the menu. Will also return with friends to try out their dinner menu. Also, if you're in the mood, a great selection of french jams and other yummies on offer that would make great gifts."

"Overall the food was very good and I would recommend it. We were a party of two and the tables were very close together so that we could hear everything the people at the next table were talking about. The service was below the quality of the food. We were seated and never given the menu. Had to ask for it. Maybe it was just our table because I noticed other tables were getting better service. Overall the experience was very good and my husbands lamb was excellent."
