"Food was good. I ordered the 3 meat plate and split it with my son. We got the smoked sausage, brisket and chicken with corn and green beans as the side. The chicken (we got a breast and wing)was a bit dry but it was delicious. The brisket pieces we got, again, a little bit dry but the flavor was great. The sausage was great, the moistest of the 3 meats. The veggies (corn and green beans) reminded me of lunchroom veggies, just boiled in the pan and maybe a bit of seasoning but nothing to write home about. The day we came in there was some kind of local charity meeting, so the place looked very crowded, but only about 4 people were actually eating inside and the other probably 20 were just listening to this meeting. The dining room is very Texas decorated, lots of cowboy and southwest decorations. Including any picture of John Wayne set up almost like a little shrine with hot she hangers and things around it. Nice and inviting tho.Price wasn’t bad my meal and my wife’s (she ordered a burger), was under $45 including 3 drinks and the 3 meals. Would come back again if I’m in the area."
