"This was our third time and the other two times have been good. This time ended a fiasco. We were a party of 8 with early reservations on Christmas Eve. We were seated on time at 4:15 and the restaurant only had about 5-7 table occupied. Our bar order appeared to take a long time but we ultimately received it. Several ordered appetizers and that was when we noticed several were missing silverware. We placed our entree orders and that took forever. When they were delivered, my plate was very hot however my Brussels sprouts were cold but I said nothing. Another in our party said that all of his food was cold and the waitress took it back...unfortunately it was not redelivered until absolutely everyone else was finished eating...very awkward situation for all. Finally he asked for a takeout box. The manager ultimately came over and comp’d the meal but for an upscale restaurant a take out box is not what he had in mind for Christmas Eve celebration. To make matters worse, when the bills arrived two couples were totally mixed up with charges. We knew each other and in the essence of time we thought we would just settle the differences n cash between us but the waitress insisted in doing it all over again. Now the time has grown to 7:00, everyone is flustered and you guessed it, even the redone tickets were still wrong. Mealtime ended up being almost 3 hours of total frustration. Restaurant definitely is having a problem with both the wait staff, the kitchen and the bar. Not anywhere interested in returning until we hear things have improved! It’s a shame as it started off nicely."

"I made reservations at 8:30 p.m. Arrived early at 7 p.m., let hostess know we were there. Sat at bar for drinks. Took over 1/2 hour to get a first drink. One drink was awful; one was good. Ordered two more of the good drinks, took another 1/2 hour to get second drinks. Bartender was working too hard, restaurant was obviously understaffed for holiday. At 8:35 told hostess that we were still waiting to be seated. She told me there were four tables ahead of us. Why, I asked, if we had reservations, would there be that many still ahead of us? (No answer). She told us it would be at least 15 minutes. Went back to bar, ordered two more of the good drinks. At 9 p.m., I went back to hostess, a different hostess this time, who told me that there were now 8 tables ahead of us and that it would be at least 1/2 hour wait. How is this possible, I asked, that we made reservations for 8:30 p.m. on Valentines Day and we are now told that we have to wait until at least 9:30 (and, how the number of tables before us had increased was never explained). Undaunted, I went back to the bar, and at 9:10 our third round of drinks still hadn 't arrived. At about 9:15, the hostess unexpectedly arrived, showed us to our table. Waiter was rushed and seemed confused. We ordered the Valentine 's specials. Waiter took our order, only to return about 10 mins. later to tell us that the entree I 'd ordered (steak and potatoes) was out . I ordered another (pasta and shrimp, for which I was expected to pay extra). When I asked the waiter about our appetizer, he said he 'd check on it; instead, another server appeared after our dinner had already arrived to tell us that the appetizer (mushrooms) were no longer available, we had to order something else. The appetizer (calimari) we received between dinner and dessert was overcooked and unappetizing. Fortunately, our 3rd round of drinks showed up with the calimari, so, by that time, the drinks were welcomed. Not a good night."
