"I tried this place for the first time today. I ordered the blt, said it was coming on Cuban brot, but if I got that sandwich, it was only standard white bread. I also ordered the bordered greens, they charge $7 for a small cup. Unfortunately, half of him was fat and pigs and not much scratched green. the scratched greens are also very sweet, I assume that it meant to be. art of disappointment"

"This is a hidden gem diner that is my all-time favorite; the moussaka is life-changing. Every element the spice the fluffiness of the bechamel and how it's crisped on top and the layers of roasted eggplant they just as tender as could be but somehow even crispier on the edges; I would go there with my mother since I was 12, and I would always order the moussaka every diner I went to that had it on the menu that was my specialty to order it to see whether it would meet the incredible standard of this fine 202 diner. The service was always impeccable and what what made this place stand out was the care that was taken to select ingredients that were wholesome and choice, and to present those ingredients in a traditional style in an exemplar fashion. I've since moved away from the area, but I am hoping for this restaurant to have many more decades of prosperity ahead for itself, and if I had one piece of advice for the proprietors of the establishment, even if you have to raise the price, never remove the moussaka from that menu."

"So much experience. On the positive side, beautiful ambience, waitress tries to be helpful. On the negative side, two of the four commands were wrong at the table and had to be sent back to be corrected. Burger was terrible. Dry and Bland. And potatoes that got so bad with him. Also dry. Almost impossible. Other dishes were better (Cod Tacos, back of the house bowl, and Caesar salad). Probably not back."

"I visited this restaurant in January to celebrate my birthday, but the server forgot to input our orders until we had been waiting for an hour. No compensation was offered for the mistake. I decided to give it another chance for a special occasion on a Wednesday evening, but the server was rude and made us feel like an inconvenience. This used to be my favorite spot, but unfortunately, things have changed. Hopefully they will improve their staff soon."

"While the food was good, it was not over the top as I expected from a $200 meal. The Sea Bass was overpowered by the Chorizo in my dish and there was no lump crab meat in my husband's crab cakes. On the other hand the chocolate souffle for dessert was very good. Service was acceptable, but the place felt cramped. This was our second time here; both times were to celebrate special occasions. Our meals were excellent on our first visit, although the service was horrible. We thought we would give it another try this time around. I am sad to say that we likely will seek another establishment to celebrate in the future."

"Felt like at home (NYC). Comfortable, friendly service. Interesting menu loved the choices of omelets and breakfast / Brunch tea .. Inventive .. like the Ricotta pancakes with fruit. Nice! Inside, very cozy and warm. Outside the terrace with plenty of heating and even a gas fire pit. Nice fireplace also inside. Maybe expensive in Cincy? I didn't find it anywhere near. Definitely worth what they calculate. Overall a really high-quality place with excellent service. And note many safety precautions in distancing, sanitizer throughout the rest and even a bottle of sanitizer at each table. Good job, guys!"

"I absolutely love going to this place on Sundays in the late morning/early afternoon. They're open until 2:00 on Sundays for breakfast and lunch and they have a good variety of options whether you're craving a breakfast item a lunch item vegetarian or meat there is something for everyone. I like their espresso bar and their cocktails taste delicious. I don't usually go with the traditional items on their regular menu. I typically take advantage of their specials because they're unique and tasty. Their tomato bisque and grilled cheese is definitely worth a try! I know it sounds simplistic but they do it really well. Warm inviting staff environment and food."

"I love dining at the Beachcomber. The setting is unbeatable and the food is divine. Loved the miso glazed butterfish. BUT. They used to provide parking validation. Not only did we have to pay $15 for parking but we also had to pay $2 per person for the shuttle back to the lot. As a local, I will not be wasting money on parking and shuttles again."

"I have had arguably the best tapas experience of my life here. We were served by the bartender Josue while seated at the bar. Despite the busy atmosphere Josue made sure our drinks were always full, food arriving quickly and checked in on us while navigating and serving countless others. The flank steak with white truffle oil was cooked to perfection, we left no drop of sauce left from the mussels and the chorizo figs were the cherry on top. 10/10 service 10/10 food could not recommend any higher!"

"I went on June 19, a few days after things were set to reopen in California following COVID restrictions, which may explain some of the disappointing aspects of the experience. There were only two other tables occupied in the time I was there (despite ample seating), but there were at least 3 people on wait staff. The food I tried was pretty good, but the dish they served it in was chipped and had a small smudge on it (that I wiped off before taking pictures). A fly landed on me while I was sitting in the dining area. The interior, including the bathrooms, were functional but not exactly what you’d expect for the price. "As soon as I walked in it was beautiful and smelled amazing! I was so excited! But it quickly left when my boyfriend and I were met by a very uninterested waitress. From the jump she kind of just overlooked our table and was very blunt and short worded with us which I didn’t appreciate. We order and no kidding our food comes out in like 5 minutes…..how could you have made fresh lasagna and chicken parmigiana in 5 minutes??? You can’t. It wasn’t fresh. My chicken was rubbery and not even hot the cheese wasn’t even melted on top of it. My boyfriends lasagna was hot because they had to throw it in the oven to melt the cheese. Then after we got our food the waitress really just didn’t even care about us anymore after that! We waited over 10 mins just to RE ASK her for our bill…..it’s kind of like she thought we weren’t going to tip well so her attitude towards us showed that all night. (We didn’t get appetizers or alcohol) Idk I didn’t like it at all on top of my food being pretty average for how expensive it was. Overall 6/10"

"Every other day I would give them 5. Today I was a little disappointed. The place is great. Food is great! Loved the fire outside as entertainment and to keep the side of the wall warm. However, the service was very “hurried”. It was not bad or wrong, just “hurried”. In the beginning, I though it is because they were too busy, which is great. In the end, when many tables were empty, they still rushed the service. It's like we're more of an interested party to customers."
