"for a first date somewhat loud. the food was a bit off. the wobbly soup was delicious. the chicken and dumpling was a little taste. the Brat-Rindsandwich was soggy and a large amount of rich fat that could not be chewed. if only the bark would cut a bit, that would be sandwich good. sheppard cake had meat that was hard. not sure whether it was the meat cut or the cooking method."

"Our experience was ok. It was nice to eat outside and our server did a good job of taking care of us, despite how much was going on. We tried the Fire and Ice salad but it was inedible since it was too spicy. My husband’s burger was fine but his fries were overcooked and so was my Farm to Fig pizza. About halfway through our meal it became apparent that a wedding had ended at the hotel. They informally moved their festivities to the rooftop at High Rail which made for too many people in the outdoor space. Not sure how often the hotel experiences things like this. It was a fun “party” atmosphere for the wedding guests, but not enjoyable for those of us trying to have a more relaxed dinner experience."
