"Trastevere remains the best kosher restaurant. Although no longer in Manhattan, it is well worth the trip to Brooklyn. The space is much larger. Rudy remains the maitre'd. Great food, great service. Excellent menu: Pasta dishes (get a half order as an appetizer), many variations of veal, chicken and beef. Get the osso bucco when available. Balsamic chicken, lamb chops, short ribs. You cannot go wrong. Great desserts. Unfortunately there is an artichoke shortage. Their signature appetizer of roman style artichokes was not available. You will not be disappointed."
