"Our first time visiting Fellini's in Newtown Square. To be honest, my husband and I were disappointed. We've had multiple people recommend Fellini's, so decided to try out this past Saturday. It's a small, quant restaurant, but a bit cramped. Overall, the service was great. Ellie took care of us, and she was polite and knowledgeable. In regard to the food, the sesame bread delivered to the table is nothing special, really not much flavor, dry and not warm this is a personal preference. We started with the mussels, which were very tasty in the marinara broth, but the crostini on the side is basically the table bread, but crunchy. My husband ordered the branzino special, which was prepared caprese style, and didn't really suit the fish. It came with a side of asparagus and choice of pasta or vegetables. For the price, not worth it. His meal arrived at least 5 minutes before mine, and as we all know, fish cools quickly, so I kept asking him to start without me. Our meals should have been delivered at the same time. I ordered the linguine alla vongole. It tasted a little too fishy for my liking. The portion was generous, but not worth taking home leftovers due to the fishiness of the dish. Maybe this was an off night, but I doubt we'll be returning."
