"The Himalayan Cafe is a wonderful authentic East Indian dining experience. Its an amazing restaurant, run by Makar Rai, who, along with his staff, is from Nepal. The food is so wonderful and authentic. The service and vibe' of the place is just right. Everything is home-made, including the great sauces and condiments. You must try the tandoori eggplant (smoky and so delicious), the saag paneer (spinach with home-made cheese), paneer dilruba (amazing tomato sauce and cheese), try the somas, the mo-mos, ohmygosh, just try everything! On Fridays there is live music at night and Saturdays they have bellydancing! Luncheon specials are a great deal. (Veg non-veg with large vegetarian menu."

"I really just wanted some vegan friendly dorms, but I always ended up some of their freshly cut pumice as well as some of their spinach and rice. The employee who helped me was very strange. He wasn't necessarily rude, but he wasn't really helpful either. I recommended that I was vegan and asked about certain menu items and their vegan friendliness. His answers seemed uncertain, even though he assured me he knew what he was talking about. He explained that spinach and rice were vegan and did not contain dairy products or animal broth. I pray he was right. DOLMAS You get six little daggers for $7. The dolmen were very good, but about price for size and portion. OPA HOMEMADE FRIES sooo tasty! I loved the season and they give you so many frits for the $5! (Other places should note! SPINACH RICE DELICIOUS! I don't know how a simple recipe can be so inspiring. I need this recipe because I could eat it every day. I've never seen this court in a Greek restaurant, so I have to do it again when I'm in town next time."

"Ordered take out today for the first time from Fava Pot. I enjoyed the falafel platter it was pretty tasty. Lentil Rice was just ok not much flavor. Falafel however were delicious and cooked just right. The salad portion was super little. I wish it had a bit more sald and less rice, as it would have balanced the meal a bit more. I'll definitely try them again! Service: Take out"

"This restaurant is a hidden gem! The menu stood out among other menus in the city with similar (or expensive) options. Every dish we tried was amazing, especially the Brussels sprouts and the feta cream served with fried olives (which I had never seen before but pleasantly surprised by). We also enjoyed a delicious pork belly special and tasty mac and cheese. They also had a soda brand, Maine Root, on tap that I had never seen before. It was incredibly rich and complex with cola flavor (the splash of lemon really elevated it) and a deep, not too sweet or spicy ginger undertone. The service was good, prices were reasonable, and the food exceeded our expectations. I just wish this place was closer to NYC so I could visit more often. I highly recommend Miss Lucy's Kitchen to anyone looking for a great meal in the area."

"My husband works out of our home in Glendora with his team. At least two to three times a week all four of them go for lunch in downtown Glendora. Sometimes I join them. Everyone 's favorite is Luca Bella. It has such a great menu for lunch. The Burrata BLT is perfection. As is the Tomato bisque. The guy 's favorite seems to be the Fire Roasted Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich. They rave about it. (and don 't forget the parmesan fries! Steak salad is also fire! A few months ago we realized that they also have an amazing weekend breakfast menu. Probably the best in town. Sit outside and enjoy a Mimosa flight. Yum Just last night my husband and I were out walking enjoying the beautiful spring weather and decided to walk into town for dinner and we chose Luca Bella. It was my first time eating there in the evening and I thoroughly enjoyed my sea bass and asparagus risotto. My husband asked for his pasta dish to be extra spicy and they complied. He was a very happy man! I 'm going to end this very long review with a comment on the service. Not one time in all the times we have been there, have we ever had less than stellar service!!! Super friendly, helpful, professional. I don 't care how good the food is at a place if the service is not just as good, that 's what you remember. Not the food... the cranky staff. That is not the case at Luca Bella. They are amazing. "The food and service was outstanding but the heat was uncomfortable. They didn’t turn on the fans and with an open kitchen and ovens it was uncomfortably hot. We asked the manager but she said some of the tables that were under the fans were complaining it was too cold…with high 80s/low 90s and high humidity I think I would err on the side of keeping guests cool."

"The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is good, but I was disappointed by the overcharging. I ordered the beef Lula kebab, which was listed on the menu for $18. I asked if I could switch one of the beef skewers with chicken, which is priced at $16 on the menu. I expected to pay either the listed price for the beef or $17, but instead I was charged $26.46. It was frustrating to pay an extra $7 to make this simple substitution, especially when the chicken was actually priced lower than the beef. It is not fair to be overcharged in this way."

"Not only the Best Bakery in NJ, but also the Best Breakfast. On an early Saturday afternoon with my wife stopped and was treated to a fantastic experience. We had the Cinnabun Pancakes and the Brioche French Toast. We argued at the table what was better... I say the pancakes (the pancakes would have been the best pancakes I had at the age) or the French toast (they say the Apple Compote was the best they ever had). After our meal we had the Banana Cream Pie with Caramel Drizzle and the Kouign Amann. Even we did not agree what was best (Get the Kouign Amann, I went with another after we were finished). When we eat, we also saw what other people ate. The eggs of Benedikt looked at phenomena, and the burger was really HUGE! We stopped at the Pastry Counter and brought some goodies home. We missed on the donuts, which means another road trip!!! Thank you Melissa and Chris for your hospitality!"

"The food at this place is incredibly delicious! The tandoori shrimp we ordered was hands down the most delicious dish we've ever had from an Indian restaurant. The chicken biryani was also tasty, although the chicken was a bit dry for our liking, so we probably won't order it again.Unfortunately, we didn't receive the kale goat cheese naan that we ordered. They were willing to fix the mistake, but considering the heavy traffic in NOVA, it was too much of a hassle to go back. This was quite disappointing."

"share a vegan sampler and added the mushroom shell that was under the vegan section and veggie called in the mushrooms there were several pieces of meat (something small, one about a customs), making me think that they are not particularly careful to ensure that vegetarian foods are actually vegetarian. must have been lazy to use a dish to heat the mushrooms that were disappointing and rough. the rest of the vegan food was okay, but quite lack of flavor or flavor. were in other, better Ethiopian restaurants in the environment. was a shame because I liked hawwi."

"this is the third meal here. I love the environment, the location, the friendly and fast service. I was not so crazy for eating the first two times, but one between the delivery of kebabs made me want to try it another. the Turkish drinks and the special brot got the prices again. I decided to get something that I hadn't tried before, what was soaking kebob. it was very edible, especially the grilled paprika and tomato and the crispy brot. the lens soup was also good. my friends didn't like the donator kebab. it was trying and tasteless until they looked sour from me borrowed and many salt and pepper to add the taste. the salat was good and it helped to compromise. my other friend couldn't eat the chicken cooked. she smelled it from a bit. they enjoyed the salat and the brot and did not complain. I tried to eat the juices from the Doggy bags later and yes, they were not boiled through and safely smelled. my other friend ate the rest of the donator kebab to house for dinner with hot sauce and mango salsa to compensate for the lack of taste and dryness. about all the food experience was pleasant due to the drinks, brot, suppe, salad environment and service, but that would unfortunately not be something we would come back."

The food arrived on time, but lacked flavor, had small portion sizes, and was missing meat. My chicken tikka masala had no chicken, and the lentil soup had no lentils, only broth. I called the restaurant to voice my concerns to the manager, but felt my complaints were not taken seriously. Can anyone recommend another Indian restaurant? I am looking for suggestions on where to dine next."
