"They call this a hidden gem and they are right! Tucked away in the basement, this isn't your everyday sushi joint. The menu doesn't offer 100 made up rolls to choose from. Only 4. California with real crab, king salmon, bluefin tuna, and veggie, to which you can add avocado and make spicy. The beauty lies in their main offerings. Starting with Japanese oysters, which were divine, then a tri toro (tuna) jewelbox that has fatty tuna, chutoro (medium fatty tuna), and akami (regular bluefin tuna), with some salmon roe and a quail egg. Man oh man...so good!We had the different tunas as nigiri sushi, a salmon avocado spicy roll, a California roll, more fatty tuna, and a sea snail in the shell. All this with a large bottle of unfiltered sake from the well stocked sake bar. An amazing sushi experience like few others in the US."
