"This was truly the worst dining experience of my life, and I dine out a lot. To be fair, it was their Easter buffet, not the usual dining, so your results may vary. Upon entering, we were barely greeted but brought to our large table. It was a table for eight though we were a party of four, so it was very awkward but compared to the food, that part was nothing. Despite it being an 11am reservation, this was not brunch food but rather only dinner type of food. Everything looked incredibly unappetizing. The vegetables were green beans and corn that had to have been from cans. They were swimming in a weird liquid and looked inedible. There was mashed potatoes and stuffing that seemed ok, along with turkey, some sort of pulled beef, and possibly ham. There were two kinds of gravy, both congealed looking despite it being the first reservation of the day. I tried the turkey, beef, potatoes, stuffing, and the light gravy. The potatoes and stuffing were ok, the meat was exceedingly dry. I could barely cut the turkey. There was also fruit salad which was partially frozen yet mushy at the same time. My family, who usually will eat any dessert item, did not find the selection appealing. Even the rolls were bad. The salad was iceberg lettuce plus a bunch of difficult to identify mayo-soaked slaws of various sorts. Even the coffee was undrinkable. They brought us the check almost immediately and included an automatic gratuity that was not advertised. After not eating more than a few bites of anything, we paid the check and left. It was clear that we were very dissatisfied, yet no one inquired a single time. The manager who barely greeted us was at the door as we left and said nothing, not even a goodbye. This cost us $115 for a few bites of mashed potatoes, a couple of dry rolls, and some flat soda for my daughter. The fact that no one inquired as to our experience was definitely the worst part."

"Newestvisit: On the last Sunday in March we ate lunch getting a beef burger, cod with pumpkin pancakes and Devonshire Cream food was supurb as was the service by Keisha. Chef did a fantastic job on the cod moist fresh tasting with excellent tarter sauce, burger was a perfect medium with super dipping sauce. We both loved our salads will be a regular component of my meals here.Earlier visits: Super service by Christine fish and chips plus corned beef hash and in later meal service by Mindi delivering excellent fish, prawns and chips for our table. Cod was fried to order served with crispy chips and soup. Added Pumpkin Pancakes to cod order for 2nd visit this is served with wonderful housemade Devonshire Cream. Our 3rd visit was for the Wed Turkey special which is wonderful this is a favorite local restaurant with excellent service again by Mindi. Less than a week later we ate here for a 4th time getting the best cod I have had in over a year plus an excellent piece of salmon. Mindi does a fine job her fast efficient service and knowledge of the local cuisine is fantastic. All of the servers and chefs we have encountered here do a fine job.Vegetarian options: Salad choices very nice with excellent selection clearly fresh made salad (we have never seen anything stale or even slightly old .Parking: parking front of restaurant is tight on Evergreen way but there is a lot of parking close to restaurant including directly behind it on Fleming. Also Fleming is an excellent road parallel to Evergreen you can use to avoid the occasional traffic snarl on Evergreen."
