"Of the long-standing Mexican restaurants in Carson City, this is the only one that I believe has maintained its quality of great food. Whenever I am visiting in town, I make a point of going to El Charro. I absolutely love their chile rellenos. Perfectly batter-dipped, topped with their delicious sauce and NOT smothered in cheese like so many other places do (excessive cheese is just a sign that the food is mediocre and can't stand on its own). Never had a bad meal there and the margaritas aren't bad either!"
