"Been to several Perry's locations on many occasions, but one thing that seems to be constant is the poor service at the Memorial City and the River Oaks locations. Their Sugar Land locations had great service the last couple of times I've eaten there. On Friday night the food was excellent, but the service was terrible. Our waiter took our drink orders and we said we'd like to order appetizers when he return. The drinks came out 8-10 minutes later, our server returned about 10 minutes later to, and we started to place our orders. We only ordered a single appetizer for the table to share but ordered our salads and soup at the same time. Since it had taken a while for the server to first come to our table and then return, we decided to order the entrees at the same time. I asked that he give us time to finish the appetizer before serving the soup and salads, but 10 seconds later they were delivered. Not the best way to start your meal. As always, the Fried Asparagus were outstanding, the steaks were perfect and the pork chop, well that goes without saying. All the dishes are nothing less than great, but the service brought down the rating of this Perry's location. Over the course of the meal out server wasn't easy to find. But we did get an opportunity to order additional drinks and desserts. While we weren't in a hurry, the meal still was 10 minutes short of 2 hours. My wife ordered some wine for dinner, and I didn't pay any attention to it until late at home I was looking at the itemized receipt and saw that Perry's had charged $18 for a 7.5 ounce pour of Chateau Ste Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon. I went to their website to see if this was correct, and yes, the price was correct for the generous pour, and they bottle is available for $58; I couldn't believe it! I checked out the retail price and it's $14.99 a bottle and $13.49 when you buy 6 or more. Now I understand restaurants must mark up their wines, most run between 2 to 3 times retail, but this was 4.25 times retail!!"
