"My husband and I recently visited for our Anniversary. The first 15 minutes was magical, however the experience went down hill quickly (sadly). Quick Summary: Our appetizer was so fresh and yummy. Our Steaks weren't the greatest at all. One was pretty much burnt all around the edges. Still on the juicy side but still the flavor was nearly ruined.‍ We got many sides, not knowing they were large portions. The Brussels were great. The fries pretty good. The mashed potatoes awful and no flavor. I can't remember the wine I had with my meal, because they were out of my original pick. It was very nice and balanced with the meal. With all of the food aside, my service was truly hit or miss. Our waitress assistant was amazing and helpful, however we hardly saw them. The waitress herself was so short and avoided answering questions, or just didn't know much. She also pushed us along. She wanted to bring the check and didn't ask about dessert when we were eating our meal. When I said we wanted dessert she seemed nearly annoyed. Mumbled a few options. I asked for a drink to go with dessert and was ignored/over talked. My husband stood up and walked over to reiterate/correct it. The chocolate torte was rich and sweet. Paired well with the sparkling wine. The dessert was a much smaller portion compared to the sides. Overall I was let down for such a special night. Not sure I'd ever drop that much money again for such short service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Chocolate Tart"

"Celebrating our 6th Anniversary dinner the Palm in Tyson’s Corner on 12 June 21 and dinner was good. They wishes us a Happy anniversary when we arrived but another restaurant with the initials of RC has better presentation and well wishes. Due to the Commonwealth (finally) opening to full capacity recently, it was nice to see that the restaurant was busy though the appetizers were limited and there were not any soups offered. I requested a well manner, extra dirty martini, straight up with Tito’s and you can see the martini was not “dirty enough from the “lack of” brine and there was not any blue stuffed olives in the drink. That is the best part! The steak tartare that I ordered needed some salt…maybe some French Maldon sea salt to elevate it a tad. The three cheese potatoes au gratin were decadent. We also picked out a bottle of white French wine to accompany dinner but our server came back to unfortunately inform us that they were out fo stock so we settled for a Spanish white wine instead. Not pictured is the salad my husband had for an appetizer, the leaf spinach side that was aglio e olio, his portion of the 3lb lobster (that we shared) and his slice of cheesecake. One of the servers was kind enough to break the claws for us, thus the lobster photo is not the best photo. We previously had been frequent diners at the Palm over the years and I am blaming Covid for the Palm not being as top notch as it used to be since the staff was stretched thin and the overall atmosphere was loud due to the high ceiling in the dining room. We will try it again once normalcy returns to the area. Thank you."
