We often travel from Texas to Newport Coast. The Pelican Hotel and all its restaurants were a pleasant experience for us. Tonight we had a terrible experience, and I was very disappointed at your service. First, it took half an hour until someone took our order at the table. After that we waited for our food for more than an hour. The medium-heavy meat on my plate was completely boiled, and no one asked if we needed anything else. Three wine glasses are required. It took two attempts to get an answer from the waitress. When I went to the bar, the bartender gave me three wine glasses. No one came to clean the table and prepare it for dessert after we finished eating. Since I had to do it myself, we ordered five coffees and two teas when the dessert arrived. It took two or three times that someone gave my grandmother the heating as she was very sick. When I asked the waitress about the bag, she said she had already given it to you. Something was wrong with our coffee. It was cold, old and delicious. Despite paying more than 250 dollars for the service fee and leaving a tip, I had a disappointing experience in your restaurant tonight. If I have a complaint about a restaurant, I would rather talk directly to the management instead of writing a review. At the Pelican Hotel such things should not happen.
