"We had an incredible experience at Ooka Hibachi! We visited on a Sunday evening and although it is a walk-in only restaurant, we only had to wait about 5 minutes for our table and another 20 minutes for our hibachi chef to start. During the wait, we ordered avocado rolls from the menu, along with soup and salad that came with the hibachi experience. We opted for the vegetable hibachi and the server was accommodating in making substitutions to cater to our vegetarian requests, such as replacing chicken broth with miso in the soup and switching egg fried rice with vegetable fried rice. They even prepared the vegetarian hibachi separately before starting the meat dishes. The fried rice and noodles were exceptional and the hibachi performance added to the overall fun dining experience. While we thought the prices were a bit high, the quality of the food made up for it. There is only one vegetable option available for hibachi, but the staff was very helpful in customizing it for us."

"Drew, our server was amazing. Cocktails were great. But the reason we were there was for the steak which got great reviews. The steaks, $65 a piece, had no seasoning and tasted watery like they have been sitting in water or pre boiled. Also a bad cut of meat and hard to get good pieces to eat that weren’t gristle or fat. I expected much better based on the reviews. The Mac n cheese was disappointing but the steak was the big issue."

"This is our favorite steak place in Indy. We even come here before going to the symphony downtown rather than eat at places closer that have been disappointing in their inconsistency. We have eaten at Eddie Merlot's a dozen times over the last few years and the food is consistently excellent, and the wine list is fantastic. Have discovered some wonderful wines here. Service is impeccable. Always a great evening when we eat here!"

"I decided to try out this restaurant while I was in the area doing some shopping during my medical traveler assignment in OKC. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I arrived shortly after the restaurant opened on a Monday, so it wasn't very crowded. I sat at the sushi bar, where the chef was fantastic and provided excellent recommendations. I tried the amber jack, which was delicious. I had a great experience and will definitely need to make time for a second visit."

"Dinner was excellent, both of our steaks were perfectly done. Secondary courts were also excellent. The service wasn't very attentive, didn't seem like they had short employees. Dinner was just the duck, no salad or soup, so spent what seemed like a long time waiting. The waitress didn't look very often on the table. Bread appetizer was Bland, no salt or pepper on the table and no waitress to ask. Music was loud and disturbing, making it hard to keep a conversation."

"I want to show my respect and gratitude to the this wonderful restaurant from I believe who is the owner that wanted to show me curtesy to get up to help seat me to the wonderful servers with so much kindness and allowing me to finish my food and drink though I got here late and they are now closing as I speak. But they told me no worries and finish my oysters and drink. This place also reminds me of my grandfather’s place from the nice smell of this very charm duo and characteristic restaurant. You will not be disappointed and will enjoy your time. Even watching others whom are older than me enjoy each others company at other’s tables that put a big smile on my face bc the old ways are not the same as modern days but this place still has that old way of amazing people around you. "Hard to spoil the man who is the master of the grill at home, but for Father’s Day we felt like we struck gold with Chicago Prime. The steaks were decadent and the sides were incredible, but it was the atmosphere of this classy place and the dry, hilarious connection with Josh behind the bar who took care of us that really sealed the deal. It was a rare night out, but they truly made us feel like regulars. Definitely a new family favorite for special occasions."

"We enjoyed our meal here at Teppanyaki table Danny was a big entertainer. Shrimp was seasoned well, but the steak was a little under seasoned. The glass of wine was well served. I just didn't like it, under the table it was dirty from the previous seats. Rice everywhere and napkins on the ground. I know there's a downside everywhere, but cleaning should be a priority."

"The seafood was great, however, the steak I got was not. It was cooked right but it had no taste. When I first entered there was a corporate gathering that reserved tables in the back and they were very loud. There wasn't really anywhere to go expect the oyster bar. My original waitress was fine, but then another one showed up to help and it got really confusing. Otherwise, I would still recommend it. Just don't get the steak! Seafood which is their specialty is great!"

"we were invited by a neighbour who also played the saxophone for the club. we went on a Sunday morning and landed a lot in the brunch crowd to our surprise. we were not sure what to expect when we arrived there, so the brunch was a little surprised. eating was pretty good. we ordered omelettes and they informed us that they would take some time to meet the brunch line. good options for eating and a good choice. our omelettes arrived and they were huge. I couldn't finish her because I had lunch from the buffet. also, they blew my Omelet option; Luckily, I was not too worried, but I wondered if my was wrong, then the wavy board influenced that at least one other person did not get the right Omelet order. we then went into the bar to hear the music and our eating came with us. everything in all a pretty good experience and eating was not bad. I tried a sausage gum that was really good."

"I really liked this. the family came to that place tonight. everything was delicious. hush puppies are great. cheeseburger was great. great location, very friendly service, comfortable atmosphere, clean. they will spend some money, but feel worth it. server was chanoknun and was great. I'll go back in any case."
