"I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Roberto's, but this place right here is really giving them a run for their money. Fresh ingredients? Check. Utilization of cheeses other than cheddar and jack? Check. Friendly and generous service? Check. Generous portions? Check. Mall employee discounts (chuckle)? Check. My personal favorite is the San Francisco burrito! With tender, well-seasoned carne asada, fresh and flavorful guacamole, french fries and a bacon and pico de gallo blend on top of a slice of what I'm assuming is Asadero cheese, it really reminded me of the type of burritos I had the pleasure of trying in San Francisco's Mission District. The prices may be steep to some but trust me that it's completely worth it. Their salsa verde is also fantastic and adds just the right amount of flavor kick to whatever you're getting. The red sauce on the other hand is a bit disappointing. The heat of it totally overwhelms the flavor. So by itself it's no bueno, but mix in the salsa verde and that offsets the heat factor somewhat. Oh and they also offer Mexican Coke and Sprite. Roberto's doesn't have that. However, they don't have horchata, which might be a con to some (not to me though since I don't like horchata). By the way, the Mexican place on the other side of the food court, La Taqueria? Their days are numbered with this kid on the block. LOL, but in all seriousness, don't ever go to that one. The Final Verdict: Pros: See the checklist at the top of the review. Reminds of the SF Mission style Mexican food. Cons: The prices at face.....but this is minor because of what you get for your money. Red sauce is too hot....but this is minor, especially seeing that the green sauce helps with that anyway. No horchat....oh wait I don't like horchata. Never mind. Suggestions: Add horchat......why would I suggest adding something I don't like? Return factor: 10/10."
