"On weekends for lunch in late November stopped and a quiet table with a breathtaking view of the lake and snowy mountains. The French diving sandwich was delicious, with creamy horseradish with the rich thin slices of beef and one side crispy broken frits. The mahi tacos were not quite so impressive (with missing three-colour chips), but the pineapple salsa was fresh and bright. The service was fast and friendly, carefully revitalized with dishes and filled with water glasses. Overall, it was a winning experience. Nice location, delicious food at a good price, and Snappy service."

"Acceptable fine food on the beach. The smell of smoke in the lobby was very inconspicuous. Almost enough to turn away. The food was good and as described, but undisturbed from any medium to fine restaurants. A decent game to check if you're in the area, but not worth the ride if you don't."

"Had brunch for five today and the experience was great. A little expensive, but the quality of drinks, food and service felt like we got what we paid. Overall an excellent restaurant and I would like to come back for a nice dinner or a Sunday brunch. Location and atmosphere were very funny. The front room was very dark and felt more like a place for dinner while the back was open and well lit. My party sat in the back room and enjoyed it more than when we sat in front. The service was above average. Our waitress was knowledgeable and often came to us. The manager also came at least twice to check us out. The food and drinks were amazing. My party tried several cocktails like their custom old fashion, a white sangria, and a mix of sweet and hearty drinks. We liked several appetizers and their entrees were all wonderful. Only one of us got dessert, but the Smith Island Cake they ordered was absolutely amazing."

"I went for lunch and was disappointed that they didn't have beer, but many others were enjoying a cold brew. I ordered the blue cheeseburger and it was fantastic! The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning when I'm in Sanford."

"This place has amazing food and service. The drinks are amazing. Besides the sloppy Joe's, chicken bobs, saganaki. To be honest, I tried almost every article on the menu and I'm never disappointed. The fireplace is such a perk coming winter time. And the service is phenomenal. Everyone is so nice and it makes you really welcome. And their green beans should die."

"Nice neighborhood corner bar... A bit divey, but it's genuinely so, not at all pretentious. Reasonable prices with all the basics well covered. It happens to be walkable for me and therefore I will probably visit again soon. Seemed to be inhabited mostly by regulars. Not crowded, but a good number of people on a Saturday night enjoying karaoke. I didn't even look at the food menu so can't comment there. Enjoyed machine pool table at just 50¢ per game. Cue sticks were all slightly wonky tho. Table seemed good enough, so if you're picky, bring your own stick."

"Four times to be here, food never disappoints. The staff is always friendly. Sunday $4.00 bleedings are excellent and comes with all fixations. Only (small) complaints wish they had a vegetarian option in the sandwich/wrap area. Otherwise, great place!"
