"we had great hopes for this restaurant, but were at the end disappointing. we ordered cocktails and fried pickel to start, cocktails were very good and the fried pickel were delicious. I ordered the jambalaya and my man ordered the catfish dinner. my salate was very basic, green, cherry tomato halves and peeled cheese. no salate with the Wels dinner. my jambalaya was barely served warm and was over spiced; the fries with the catfish dinner were soggy and the cat was over cooked. on the dessert. I am gf (the menu has many gf options and the attraction for the try of this restaurant), so tried the beignets. my man ordered the regular beignets. my first came out, buried in powder sugar and undercooked. in 15 minutes later the dessert of my man came. underwhelmed. the kitchen has to learn how to step properly and serve their food. Beyond that, the place is very loud and the singer/band in the next room was so loud, we couldn't talk to each other! very disappointing experience and we will not even give it another chance."
