"the hostess was over rude, made us stand and wait, sitting a tonne people who came after us and we had a reservation. our server could not have helped us less. we asked for a drink recommendation and he told us he never had it and didn't know if it was good or not. finally our food came out and my kitty salad was great. the salat was black and devastated. only a terrible experience."

"La Marea was a big surprise. We visit the area occasionally and the restaurants are fine. La Marea comes from Westchester where we have many to choose from and it definitely falls into that category. The food was outstanding and the place was very welcoming and comfortable. Can't say enough well. All you have to do is try it yourself."

"We came to try the pizza and it was pretty mediocre. It didn’t taste like wood fired pizza. The rest of the food was good, nothing worth going back for though. The atmosphere was lively and the place is clean. It’s a good neighborhood spot overall, but wouldn’t go to Forest Hills just to eat here."

"A friend of ours showed us the Off the Record and we can't thank her enough. An awesome, cozy little bar that kind of has a speak easy vibe. The drinks and the atmosphere were amazing. We liked it so well, we visited a few times. It was also entertaining to look at the caricatures and figure out who they are."

"vegan fish and chips? don't say more and bring me a teller! I brought my own splintery brown sauce so I can remember the school in Scotland. the terrace was comfortable and not too crowded. the drinks were a bit steep (e.g. $10 for a dose of the zider), but a part of it is just D.C overall, we enjoyed and will be back. Do not forget to order a piece of banoffepis and a cup coffee to finish their meal. "
