"Hope and Anchor in New York is one of the best places I have visited. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The mac and cheese fritters, which are a classic mac and cheese fries with radish sauce, are absolutely amazing. The fish tacos are also incredible, with fresh fish, homemade banana chips, and freshly made salad. The soups, burgers, and salads are all great as well. This restaurant offers a more modern and improved take on the classic American diner, located in the growing neighborhood of Red Hook. Additionally, there is an Ikea nearby with a free ferry to Lower Manhattan, providing stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and dropping you off near the World Trade Center."
