"This is the second time my wife and I have eaten at Blue Wave. We had a late lunch and sat outside on the balcony overlooking the pool and marina. My wife had the Mushroom Flatbread w/Pina Colada Margarita and I had the California Club w/ice tea. Both of these items were amazing. Everything was very fresh and very well put together. All you have are reviews to go off of. You can the flatbread and it not be good. Nothing is ever perfect, but I would recommend Blue Wave Bar Grill. This was our experience so I hope it helps to decide. The hostess was very nice and also recommended some places for coffee and pastries when asked. We also had a burger one evening which was good, but I do have to say the bread was a little over seasond. They are located inside the Best Western Plus Island Palms. Enjoy"

"They have an outdoor patio with umbrellas facing the marina and pool area, also indoor eating, and an outdoor counter area that faces the marina. The wait staff was kind friendly and efficient. Menu is rather small (but sometimes for me that makes it easier to choose a meal). The food was excellent! I had the burger and you can taste that it was cooked on a grill. The fries were seasoned and crisp. The other dish was the burrito which my family member says was excellent as well. Prices are about average or a bit lower for a restaurant on the water/resort in San Diego"

"The food at this restaurant is delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. They always make sure to check on the table every 5 to 10 minutes to see how everything is. They also make sure to keep your glass full of whatever you are drinking. I highly recommend this place."

"Nano Cafe is an hour drive for us. But if we are nearby we make the effort for the food. The breakfast plates are quite good. But, the Fried Chicken plate, sorry no photos, is DELICIOUS! Half a chicken, lightly coated, and fried up with a hint of sweetness, yum. It comes with French fries, which are good but I put them to the side and concentrate on eating all the chicken."

"The Santa Barbara Benedict was cooked perfectly and served with the sweetest salsa in town. My only complaint is that they asked for payment before bringing the order to the table. Additionally, a side of two thin slices of bacon cost $3.95, but considering this is Santa Barbara, I can understand the pricing. I have been living in this area since 1970 and have seen numerous restaurants come and go from that particular space, so I find it hard to believe their claim of 30 years in business there. However, there is free parking available in the back. Overall, the food was delicious and the restaurant is conveniently close to Trader Joe's."

"I was working for last taza on 2010 I just to be the cook guy and yesterday 12-11-16 I saw Martin from guanajuato and I just to work with him honestly they the best food I recommend it to everyone they have food for all ages they are very good menu for breakfast,lunch,and dinner the consistency of the food still and I think it gets every year better I like the quality and I don't know if carlitos still the manager or owner but good guy with his brother"
