"Oh man — we were completely blown away with this restaurant. We just saw this while walking around the area, not knowing what to expect. We were just really craving for Japanese food. Needless to say, we are SO happy we chose this restaurant for dinner. The prices were surprisingly wallet-friendly, given the freshness and quality of the food. Each bite was just SO GOOD. The service was very fast, and the server was so friendly and accommodating. I honestly can’t think of anything bad about this restaurant. I can’t wait to eat here again!"

"I love Lon's and have been there several times for lunch. Love the patio and the sound of the fountain and this is the perfect time to enjoy the patio. The food was excellent and the pricing is very fair considering the portion and the quality of the food. "In terms of quality, PABU's offerings are on par with the others, although it is worth noting that PABU does not specialize in Edomae-style dishes, so there are fewer nigiri courses. In terms of price, PABU is comparable to No Relation and Café Sushi, slightly less expensive than Oishii, and significantly cheaper than O Ya. As for portion size, the 8-course omakase at PABU should satisfy the average diner, but those with bigger appetites may need additional dishes to feel full. While I personally did not mind the slow service during our visit, as I was not in a rush, it is worth noting that some may find it off-putting. The chefs behind the sushi bar even mentioned that the kitchen was taking longer than usual to prepare our courses, resulting in a delay in their own contributions to the omakase meal. Nonetheless, the overall experience at PABU was enjoyable, with delicious food and attentive staff."

"I love B-Dama with all my heart, been a customer of theirs since their restaurant on Piedmont Ave opened. If I could have them cook for me everyday, I'd be in heaven. The set lunches/dinners are some of the best deals around, with a generous portion of fish or other protein, a little salad, a bowl of soup, a nice serving of steamed rice, and another little side of veggies. If you manage to eat the whole thing like me, congratulations on joining the glutton's club! I'm also a big fan of their tofu salad, with a creamy miso sesame dressing, seaweed, and a brighy hued, spicy oil that brings out a nice contrast to the coolness of the tofu and salad. Their hand rolls are made to order so everything arrives fresh, delicious, and beautiful to boot. Their udon or nabe hits the spot on a chilly day. My husband rotates his meal choice whe we come to Swan's Market, but I'm always in the mood for B-Dama!"
