"Ok let’s face it, eating out in NYC can get super expensive. That’s when this place comes in. I am vegan and not a huge fan of eating at carnist places but make an exception every now and then, this time the reason being the price. Their vegan options are clearly labeled as such and the cashier seemed to be knowledgeable about what is vegan and what is not. The lentil soup is vegan good but a bit too salty for me. Their falafel was very good, not overly dry like at many other restaurants. Portions are decent size, and can I just mention their incredibly cheap prices again! The ambiance is very casual, no table service but plenty of tables to sit at. I’ll come back here again when I’m in the area starving. I don’t rate non vegan places 5 stars anymore but this is a good place with solid vegan options."
