"In hopes of the ownership seeing this:Rokaru has been a go-to for me for a while, but my most recent visit was one of the worst I 've had at a restaurant in general in the past couple years. I brought 4 friends who have never been. We waited an hour to be seated not unusual during the dinner rush, no problem). Once sat, we weren 't given menus and didn 't see the server for another 25 minutes. We found the menus online and ordered without fuss, knowing it was busy. Food came out relatively fast, and every single order was wrong. One member of our group ordered vegetarian options for both appetizer and main dish, and was given pork/chicken. When confronted, our server advised us that it is our responsibility to notify them of dietary restrictions before ordering, and that it 's printed clearly on the menus that she never brought us). When questioned about individual bills being wrong, we were told well the bamboo and almost every other add-on that was wrong) was in one of the orders I brought out. There were no apologies given other than This has never happened before, which is not an apology. Each of us have worked in the service industry and understand how difficult a dinner rush can be, but this was just terrible. My vegetarian friend experienced a mild stomach issue because of this and won 't give Rokaru a second chance now solely because of how poorly this was handled. I don 't blame her. Disappointed : ."
