"Blowfish is a trendy restaurant at Santana Row, and that’s what you’re paying for. I’ve been here 4 times, and 3 times the fish has been awful. The 4th time it was edible, but still not great. It’s definitely a hipster restaurant, and though the anime playing on the lcd tvs on the walls is kind of cool, I can’t stand how loud they blast their music — you literally have to yell at your dining partner. It’s louder than at a club, and when I’m eating my dinner, sometimes I like to talk to the person I’m eating with. Why have I gone here 4 times if I hate it so much? The location is just so darn convenient for me and I keep forgetting how bad the food is… but we actually had to send a dish back last time because it was so terrible (a very promising uni roll) so I won’t forget anymore. The food is bad, the portions are small, it’s way too expensive for what you get, it’s way too loud, and oh yes, the service was also terrible. What’s good about it? Their drinks are pretty tasty, but they’re small and don’t pack much of a punch. Blowfish blows."
