"I have nothing but good things to say about Carlos Pizza. The food is delicious. I can't think of one thing I've ever had of them I didn't like. Apart from the usual pizza, cheese steaks, etc., they have AMAZING Pasta dishes that taste fresh and delicious. So good or even better than if you go to a restaurant like Olive Garden. The parts are generous. If we order his enough from Carlos at LEAST, two meals if not anymore. (And I have a very big appetite! lol) The prices are great. And I don't think they got EVER wrong, even if we complicate it without tomatoes, add bacon, etc. And finally you can't beat the staff. They are polite and friendly. Thank you."

"I'm happy for a nice evening with my family, but so unhappy. We had no idea who our server was while the tables/guests around us were taken care of, we were ignored. The worst part was that they weren't even busy and yet we had no service at all. At least they remember bringing our food to the table, but we felt as if we were discriminated, the only Hispanics in the section we were sitting (probably not the case) but if you see that the rest of the guests are white and the servers were attentive to these particular guests?. A place we don't plan to go back, fortunately it's not close to home."

"1st last time there…Completely disgusted with service today. Upon arrival a little girl hostess was upset our party of 7 didn’t have a reservation despite the fact there were a ton of tables available. She sighed, bitched to 3 servers in ear shot of us and then when seating us she threw our menus on the table . We would have left but our whole party wasn’t there yet and that’s where they wanted us to meet them. For the mediocre food and service I would not recommend. 1/10 fr."

"So I noticed a trend in all the bad reviews... None of them are reviewing the pizza. We got the Italian garden pizza, it was phenomenal. Crispy and soft, the ingredients were fresh, and the price was really good for the product. Best pizza I've had in my 9 years of being in the US to be honest. Granted I just moved to the east coast, but even out here, best pizza so far. It's called Sofia's Pizza, stick to the pizza and I think you'll be just fine! Underrated spot."

"Tony Spavone's Ristorante is a b-e-a-u-ti-full establishment! We went here for the 1st time ever for my Uncle's memorial lunch. There is handicapped parking, there is a built in concrete ramp next to the steps to enter the establishment. The overall atmosphere is very welcoming, inviting and upscale. The way the tables are set gives the appearance and feeling of a very fine dining experience! I cannot speak to the price, because like I mentioned, I was here for a memorial lunch and the widow covered the expenses. The fabric napkins are a nice touch as to how they were presented on the plates. The alcoholic beverages are extremely priceless. In my own personal experience, they did not skimp on the amount of alcohol they put in each drink. Catching a buzz after ONLY 1 (one) Vodka Cranberry wasn't difficult. The waiter (well at least the waiter I had was very, very, attentive,kind,welcoming and just overall a great listener and he did his job VERY well! The fireplace in the center of the main dining area is a nice touch and adds a certain upscale feeling lit or not. The lighting is just the right amount of wattage and the perfect mixture of soft whites. The only, ONLY quam I have with this establishment are the bathrooms. The men's bathroom has 1 (one) stall and 1 (one) urinal along with 1 (one) sink. The restroom is quite small with no room to even think in there let alone move around with you and 1 other person. As for the female restrooms per my mom, there are only 2 (two) stalls. 1 of them is handicapped while the other is average. She said the woman's restrooms is also quite small with very little room to maneuver around. I don't know about anyone else, but who wants to be forced in close proximity to another person ESPECIALLY while in a BATHROOM!!! Restrooms aside, Tony Spavone's Ristorante is a very nice place!!! I mean, after all, it's not like the bathrooms are the places we eat, converse with family etc. In my personal opinion, I wouldn't let the restroom issue be the end all be all deciding factor in whether or not to go and enjoy this fone establishment! "This was our first visit to The Hill in St. Louis. It is an established close nit Italian neighborhood filled with restaurants, pubs and restaurants on every corner. Parking is curling everywhere. We arrived late on a Saturday night, so everything was crowded. We chose Guidos by chance. My wife had the Veal Picatta and Bruschettas. She loved the Picatta, but thought the Bruschettas were slandered. I had the Veal Marsala. The wort on each dish was great, and the salad was chefs custom blend and taste. We were very impressed by the overall texture and taste of all dishes, and service was excellent Italian! Since the diner is so popular, it was a bit loud for my comfort. Overall, Guidos is definitely a 5 ."
