"TL;DR They do not pay attention to Celiacs.I had explained beforehand that the order was for someone who had Celiac Disease and it needed to be gluten free, and they understood (at least that's what they said).I had ordered a smoothie with nothing in it that could have been bad, or so I thought.30 min later this person had severe pain in their gut and was vomiting every 5 minutes with gluten belching.If you or a loved one have a gluten sensitivity or celiac disease, do NOT go here. They do not take it seriously."

"Why do the employees here shut off the phone so often?! First, if PB made their door dash profile more accessible, people wouldn’t need to call, but they give ZERO way to remove items/allergens from a bowl, or do double bases, etc., they only allow you to ADD, so they can get more money. As a result, the only option is to call after ordering, and more often than not it goes straight to voicemail. My stupidity for ordering before I tried the phone, but what the heck.Dietary restrictions: Don’t have any of you’re ordering through Door Dash! They set up their profile so you have zero option to change your order for your dietary restrictions. Even the “special instructions” they set so you can just click to cancel the order if their out of an item."

"So refreshing! My boyfriend I have tried almost all their bowls! Out of all the ones we?ve tried our favorite is for sure the Pura Vida! Staffs are very friendly. Not a long wait for the bowls either. We were able to substitute the toppings, which was super nice. In the picture is the Pura Vida and the Nutella Açaí bowl. The Nutella bowl actually comes with coconut flakes, but we weren?t a fan of coconut so we asked to substitute it for mango!"

"The best açaí bowls on all of Long Island!! We LOVE playa bowls with our heart and soul, so when we found out Long Island was opening a location, our foodie hearts danced with joy! As you can see from our pics, our bowls (pura vida and dragon berry) were absolutely beautiful and DELICIOUS ????????! The fruit was perfectly fresh, the honey was drizzled excellently, and the granola was double stacked just the way we look forward to and love ????! We love playa bowls so much we drove an hour for these bowls today! We will absolutely be back and can?t wait to try their many other flavor bases (açaí, pitaya, green, banana, oatmeal, and chia pudding)! "Been getting Playa for a few years now from many different locations. This was not my 1st time at this location, but this was my 1st time getting the oatmeal bowl. This location opened at 8am and I needed a healthy, fulfilling, quick breakfast. This checked all the boxes and it was delicious. I had the oatmeal with blueberries, strawberries and sliced almonds."

"I wasnt going to complain but unfortunately lately this location has been slacking. I came in early today with an online order thinking it would be ready to grab . They had 4 girls working zero customers and i had to wait for my drinks to be made because they didn’t know I had drinks. I totally understand things happen but i had to wait for thesr drinks to be made which caused me being late to work. The strawberries on my bowl were disgusting and you can tell they went bad. It’s unfortunate i now cannot stop on my way to work because this location is unreliable. Im getting the impression its college kids who just dont care because last week they forgot my smoothie as well so it seems to be a trend. This was the 4th time they forgot the drinks so i felt if i didn’t complain nothing would change. Now had it been busy i would of been more understanding but this messed up my day for lack of care. I hope you can fix this problem"

The employees was busy typing away on a laptop I waited patiently only for her to look up at another. employee and complain about someone she was typing to. I have to actually say excuse me my order is ready. Terrible service and the açaí in the bowls melted"

"DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES. I have several friends who have worked here who stated the owner 's children make comments such as I hope they have their epi-pen when making a bowl that was supposed to have no nuts. I have celiac, and I have been told they do not care and were making fun of people who cannot eat gluten and would fling granola around everywhere, not caring if it contaminated another bowl. The behavior is unacceptable, and Columbus health needs to do something about it. Every time I eat here, I get a celiac reaction. My friends who all have allergies will no longer eat here due to the behavior, not just the employee 's exhibit, but the literal children of the owner. It is disgusting, and something needs to be done about it."

"the Electric Mermaid Pitaya Bowl tasted ok but id get it without the honey if i were to order again. but i dont think i will order again as i found dried blueberries and coconut flakes in my bowl even though i ordered it without. i can only imagine how cross contaminated that kitchen probably is. there were also only two slices of kiwi. and the container was insanely sticky. i dont think id order from here again or recommend it to anyone with allergies"

"I always get the Nica Bowl why change to something when you love the one you have . Sometime I add Nutella , pineapple or kiwi. The base is not too sweet or sour like açaí sometimes is. If anything to complain is that the serving is too big . I wish they offered half orders so it would not melt."
