"Nice bake shop boasting a huge selection of cakes, pastries, and hot and cold drinks. This is not your average coffee shop with a limited menu. From lattes to organic teas to milk shakes, I'm hard pressed to think of anything that they might be missing. The place was packed, but we were lucky to find a table for two in a corner. Ordered breakfast tea with cream and a latte with chocolate fudge cake and a pound cake serving. Slices were huge, and hot drinks were served in big cups.Everything was delicious and fresh. Coffee was done right, and the organic tea was fantastic. The fudge cake was nice and moist. I polished it off even though it was one of the sweetest pieces of cake I've had anywhere. It was like a sugar bomb that hit me hard. Too much sugar always ruins the desert, but that's just me. Not only these slices were sweet, they came with sprinkle powdered sugar. If you don't find too much sugary cakes and pasteries an issue, you'll love this place. Also prices are as high as they get. The fudge cake slice was almost 10 buck a piece which is one of the most expensive I've had anywhere. All in all, visiting them was a nice experience. Recommended if you're into bakery delicacies and are not afraid of a sugar rush."

"Finally, I had some money to treat myself to some delicious baked goods. I always forget that they only accept cash, and whenever I come without it, I end up disappointing my kids. But today, we had cash on hand! I plan to visit in the morning next time for even more options. There were so many fantastic items available today, even late in the day. The prices were great, everything looked amazing, and the taste was fantastic!"

"When I reached out for a catered meal for Hanukkah, Howard was incredible to work with. He provided numerous suggestions, which I greatly appreciated since I am not Jewish but wanted to send a meal to a Jewish family."

"About as expected but the food wasn't overwhelmingly great. They need to put real green lettuce on to the burger I ordered, not the pale white core parts that were placed in it. The smoothie was decent and gave me a wonderful brain freeze. The young girl behind the counter was almost unintelligible in her speech and also didn't hear my order for the Whole Salmon sandwich. They were also out of the Smoked Salmon and we had to order the Grilled Salmon which was about a dollar more. My sister enjoyed it though. I'd say they need to be more conscientious about the quality of the toppings they put on their burgers and the young girl needs to focus on speaking more clearly to customers. Pricewise, they're about on a par with most casual restaurants of this type and level. It's an okay place for a once in a while meal but not a place I could make a weekly habit of visiting."

"In the last few months I went to three Jewish Style Deli's in NYC, including a renowned one. I was disappointed with the sandwiches in all, but Langers in Los Angeles beat them down. The sandwiches are slightly smaller than in NYC. But still a good size and leave you well satisfied... Prices are significantly lower. Pages are very good. The Koleslawin is great. The potato salad is a little too sweet for my taste. The waitress suggested her homemade vanilla cream soda. It was also very good. In other words, go and enjoy. The only problem is the neighboring neighborhood. Be careful. They have a parking space on the next opposite corner with validated parking spaces. Otherwise it is difficult to find street parking in the area."

"Chicken Shawarma: 4/5 Chicken Shawarma should not have onions with it, not to mention raw onions). Falafel: 5/5 delicious and fulfilling sandwiches with fave beans instead of the common falafel from chickpeas) Service: 4/5 I just asked if my order will take time, and they said no. It took time and I was the only customer there. The checkout went to the kitchen after I had taken my order for about 10 minutes. I wait and stayed almost without my order as I wanted to be too late for work)."

"So I 'm rating this based upon the pizza I purchased for lunch on 4/6/22. I 've never noticed this place prior to COVID so I wanted to try it out after returning to the office. I saw that they offered NY Style Pizza so while being skeptical about getting that NY quality in DC, I wanted to try it. Unfortunately the quality and service was lacking and there 's clearly room for improvement...if they care to improve. 1. Pizza quality. Not good. Flavors are mild at best and nothing screams deliciousness. I got a pepperoni and sausage pizza slice and buffalo chicken pizza slice. They use lower quality pre-cubed sausage pieces you 'd find at a school cafeteria and in the frozen food section in the grocery store instead of actual cooked fresh ground sausage. That took away from the flavor immediately. The slice was also way too sauced, and the sauce didn 't have much flavor. The buffalo chicken pizza was similar, where the chicken clearly wasn 't fresh and seemed like it was some bagged Tyson 's cubed chicken put on top of a pizza. The buffalo sauce had no flavor and the other sauce (blue cheese? Ranch? also lacked flavor enough so I couldn 't tell what it was. Additionally a buffalo chicken pizza shouldn 't have a tomato sauce base and if it does, it should be MUCH less so the tomato doesn 't overwhelm the rest of the flavors. Suffice to say, this was also over sauced which led to the next issue. Each slice was gloopy and soggy. This could have been mitigated by allowing the reheating of the slice to crisp up the dough, but the 30 seconds they heated up the slice (yea, 30 seconds was it. Didn 't do much either was clearly not enough time to mitigate the soggy dough. Thusly, the pizza slices did not hold together and sagged very sadly when eaten. The only redeeming thing was the crust which did have a little flavor and was crispy. Somehow that didn 't translate to the rest of the slice. If they reheated the slices for like 3-5 minutes (at least you 'd have a better experience and an actually hot slice of pizza. 2. Customer service. Not entirely terrible but I must have told the dude I wanted the pepperoni and sausage slice at least 5 times before he got it. Checkout also wanted to charge me for a drink but I told them no since I didn 't have one (if two slices and a drink was a special they didn 't inform me of that . All in all if you want pizza in a pinch the slices they offer are edible, but honestly I 'd order dominos over this place."

"This is a different kind of bagel than the New York standard. Different tastes for different people, I'm sure plenty of people like these bagels.First of all the dough is a bit lighter, closer to regular white bread, but still on the bagel side of that spectrum. The bagel is large in diameter, with a very large hole in the middle, resulting in far less actual dough. The crust is very pleasantly crispy and chewy, combined with the lighter bready portion, makes for a nice savory texture. Unfortunately it's all topped off with less than generous toppings, which seems to be all too common these days (I've heard of the cream cheese shortage, but not the poppy seed or sesame seed shortage). The usual wide variety of cream cheeses, spreads, and the locks are up to the New York standard.Ultimately not my favorite place, but above acceptable for your bagel needs."

"We started by sharing an order of potato pancakes which were served with sour cream and rough cut applesauce. They were very good. My wife and daughter had the potato soup and i had the german salad We each had the weiner schnitzel alla holstien which is breaded veal cutlet with a fried egg on top. The veal was very good but the egg on each was overcooked. We each had a side of spatzellis which were very nicely done. They are opening a 2nd location soon in Delanco in the former Europa Cafe."
