"My wife and I decided to try Piccolina Toscana for Valentine's Day. We started off the evening with some fresh breadsticks and olive oil for dipping. The oil was pretty bland, had to ask for some cracked black pepper for it to add some flavor. Then decided to share the Tuna Tartar as an appetizer. They had cut the tuna into small cubes and placed it on a bed of Avocado and red onion and served it with 4 wonton chips. For the amount of tuna, they had too much avocado and red onion. Those items took away from the flavor of the tuna, which was lost when eaten together. Also, could have used more chips. Our entrees on the other hand were fantastically delicious. My wife had the Pan Seared Scallops over lobster risotto. The cook on the scallops were spot on and the risotto was very flavorful. I had the Braised Short Ribs. Fall off the bone delicious. The brussels that came with them had the right amount of char on them. We ended the meal with the Tiramisu and Salted Caramel Cheesecake. Both were very good, but we felt not worth the $10 price for each. Over all, while we really enjoyed our meal, due to the prices, it will only be maybe once or twice a year date night visits."
