"I loved the ambiance and vibes of this place — it was something out of a movie with a very quiet outside area, but as soon as you pass the 90s-esque grunge windows, you enter into a wonderfully large space. The seats were nice, and each area was divided into rooms, along with a small curtain separating your table from the main walkway. The initial bread was given, and the olive oil carried all the wonderful flavor, I wish the bread was warm, however, and that would’ve made it easier to chew. I did not like my drink very much (Dressed to Kill , so I would probably get something else, or nothing at all. I also thought it was creative to create celery bitters, but the drink (Body Double was not my cup of tea either. The Brussel Sprouts were very tasty, although I wish there was some flaky sea salt sprinkled on top as garnish. The meals were quite nice! The Chicken Schnitzel was very flavorful and paired excellently with the apples and ricotta. The Braised Lamb Gnocchi was excellent! The gnocchi was so pillowy and fluffy and the sauce and lamb was absolutely to die for. After a while, I thought the dish became a little too salty for my liking, but I have been told I am sensitive to salt so that was probably it. All in all, I loved both dishes. The Gateau Victoire and Strawberry Hand Pie were excellent desserts. Would highly recommend whatever variation of hand pie being served because the flavors are there and it is uniquely in its crispy shell. I love a flourless chocolate cake and the Gateau Victoire was no exception. Loved the combination with the whipped cream. Yum! Now some cons: The cushioned seats were comfortable, yes, but provided no lumbar support and were at an almost 90° angle. Hard to find a comfortable resting incline. The servers were pretty nice, however the service was a little slow. I imagine it’s due to a shortage in servers (pay servers higher!! , but our server was extremely kind and thoughtful and we were celebrating so the Gateau Victoire was on the house! All in all, would eat here again! Also love that the menu seems to rotate!"
