"For the first time at Mario’s of Huntington I was at many of the other locations. I ordered a regular slice and grandma it was good, but I expected it to be better. To be fair, it was 3pm so not the best time to get a fresh slice. The pizza is never the same when you reheat it. Overall good experience and service was solid."

"Mario's Ristorante Pizzeria broke our head! Our third class went on a field trip to Mario's and we couldn't be happier (or filled)! When we came to the restaurant, the staff welcomed us immediately. They all had huge smiles on their faces and seemed really happy to see us. Our tables were ready for us and we sat right away. We were offered water or lemonade as soon as we sit down. Next we received baskets of hot, creamy and cheesy garlic knots. Wow! They were delicious. Next were pizza or chicken strips. If you were really hungry, you could have both!! Let's talk about the pizza. It was served hot. The crust was crispy and the pizza was cheesy. The chicken was also served hot and crispy, and you need to dip it into the sauce that came with the dish. It was amazing! When we finished what we had, we were offered more! The waiter was very friendly and constantly checked us to see what we needed. He cleaned all our plates and napkins as soon as we finished. All the staff have passed and thanked us for our visit. Mario is the place for you if you love good pizza and good service. Go to your car and go!"

"The best pizzeria in South Nassau! They took very good care of us during the pandemic and were always cheerful. You can't go wrong with anything you order. The whole wheat pizza is fabulous! For my birthday they sent me a coupon for a free personalized pan pizza. It was incredible and enough for 4. The slices were heavy because they are loaded with cheese. It blows away my memories of Pizzaria Uno. The calzones are old school Brooklyn. They are also very filling and made with good quality ingredients. The manager even called me to see how I liked the pizza. Once again, the best pizza on Long Island! Thank you, Mario's !"

"So my wife ordered cheese pizzas and she also likes her garlic knots. I love their pizza because it tastes this style of the family home that the big chains are often missing. When I walk in, I have the sense that this place is deeply used in the community. There was a birthday party and some locals came in and knew the names of the cashier. It felt secret and friendly. I'll be back to my next order."

"The selection of food was a ten, Service was a 8, as they were busy and had to move it along, which they did in an acceptable manner. The pizza was an 8. Pizza was good. Out of all fairness earning a 10 for pizza in NY is challenging as the history and competition is legendary."

If there is a wait, you can enjoy delicious drinks from the talented bartender Melissa. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly and attentive, with delicious dishes prepared by owner Henry. I highly recommend the calamari and salad made by Anthony. I have tried numerous dishes and have been served by various servers, each providing excellent service.
