"Great location with a great location with a deck on the water you can hear the river washing on the sand. The food is very good, I would give the crab cake four out of five stars. The receptionist was somewhat less than a bit disappointing for such a high caliber place. The waiter was good and reasonable attentive. My father got a hamburger, I got a crabcake and a glass of wine my father had with iced tea, and I think the bill was about 35 bucks."

"I have to say we expected more. we love eating in curo, but this visit was subpar and not indikatiw for the kind of culinary expectations that the restaurant. in a restaurant that may serve 60-70% of its capacity, we waited 45 minutes for drinks and suppe. No one came to take our menus. No one came for everything. we never saw a manager, even though we were disappointing at the fact that we waited for forty five minutes for a beer and a glass of wine. I actually went to the bar outside the restaurants and bought drinks and brought them back. I went to host three and passed a series of employees and no one asked why I would go out of the restaurant to get drinks. that was okay, not worth this visit. very disappointing."

"Hendricks Tavern is a hidden gem located in the heart of Roslyn. The service, from the valet attendants to the wait staff, was excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance is warm, laid back, and relaxing. My wife had been wanting to try Hendricks Tavern for a while, so we decided to celebrate her birthday there. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and were accommodated without any issues. The food was superb! We enjoyed zucchini and eggplant chips, fried calamari, and a pizza as appetizers, all of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had Tavern BBQ Ribs and a 30oz Tomahawk Rib Eye steak, which we shared. The sides of creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and hash browns were tasty, although the hash browns were a bit crunchy. Our desserts, carrot cake and homemade apple crisp, were also fantastic. The wait staff even sang happy birthday to my wife when they brought out her dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a great dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you to everyone at Hendricks Tavern for making my wife's birthday dinner special and memorable."

"The Prix fixe menu is an excellent value. The restaurant was very busy but the service was excellent. The only criticism I would have is that the server be able to provide separate checks when requested or at least split the check for the diners when multiple forms of payment are used. This service would provide a happier ending to a meal."

"the only reason why there is no 5-star course is because I feel that customer upgrade has been lost in this hotel. they used to offer half-priced rooms for Sunday, continental breakfast, appetizers for happy hour, all gone. my man went there for over 30 years during the Michigan race and he saw many changes. it was a family weekend for us until it became too expensive, then instead of 2 rooms he had to go on and made it a young one. in the course of the years he saw the customer upgrade die and take over the almighty. if he had a problem, the job he got was not as if it were going elsewhere. as a delight for a hotel it is to do an elite hotel for the fountain. we went back to Kovid and found it very expensive. it's lovely, but they don't offer their gasses any more. beautiful rooms and very clean, but I can get this in the best western for significantly less. the rooms are not cleaned during their stay, I understand because I kovid, but in reality that saves them money because the cleaning staff has not so much to do. I know everything is going to be expensive, but when you see that the almighty takeover and customer upgrade are lost, it's sad. it will be a long time when we go back because it will only become too rich for my blood. it was always a bit expensive, but it was not justified with those of them."

"beautiful place with beautiful view of the inner harbour. friendly, professional staff. kayla, the manager, was especially pleasant and delightful. she goes around to make sure everyone takes care of her. she noticed that our table was empty and asked us if someone had taken our order. when we said no, and without asking how long it was, she treated us as an excuse for our choice in the house! we chose the smaller portions of two appetizers instead of the regular part of one. she still has the regular part of the two appetizers! that made us easy and made us feel very pampered. our waitresses were also nice and professional. the two appetizers were oysters rockefeller and fried oysters (here pictured together). so well designed and balanced to enjoy each ingredient. our entrées were the maine lobster roll and the maryland crab cake. both were fantastic. long history short, highly recommended and surprisingly affordable."

"This was our first time there as it came with a friend's recommendations. We were quite pleased with the quality of the food as well as the prices. There were 2 parties there so there service was understandably slow, but it was worth the wait. That said our waiter was very cordial and attentive. We were also happy to discover free jazz on Saturday pm. Great 4 piece group. Afterward we walked around to find the hotel is built around a huge, lovely atrium. Most impressive. "We've only been here 7 years ago since we haven't been out of the area. decided to come back here this weekend as we visited the area again. On arrival we were thrilled by a boy who asked us if we had reservations. Since we don't often come here, we didn't know we had to make reservations, and he had a little attitude about it that almost turned me around and left me. Fortunately, a nice girl noticed his attitude and quickly turned it around for us. She immediately sat in what could not be more perfect. Our waitress was fantastic, friendly and informative. The food was absolutely delicious and we could not ask for a more tasty meal. All in all, this is a very nice restaurant with many delicious options, from above all to choose when you enjoy seafood!"

"my man and I were surprised to see the charge for spezialkartoffeln. the server said there was a light charge, but for au gratin it was 11 and garlic was crushed 9! we were also not happy to find out that there is a fee of 3.5% for using a card to pay. hopefully, people pay money? I think it's kind of **** to pass the fees on to the customers. eating was good, especially the Brussel spears."
