"Go fish! Go figure? Where in Westchester, or anywhere, can you find gorgeous shrimp and corn chowder for $4.50 or $8??? Not to mention red or white clam chowder?! I have been meaning to try Go Fish in Eastchester for a while. I am very picky about seafood and since this is the fast-casual sister restaurant of Eastchester Fish Gourmet, I knew it was worth a try and I was right! I can’t say that I am in that area often, but I had made a quick trip to Amazing Savings on Central ave and decided to take the route home that would put this place right in the middle of my path. My mom had the fish and chips. The classic meaty, juicy fresh and perfectly battered cod with gorgeous crunchy sweet potato fries and two sauces that would not end up in the trash a perfect tartar and a lime-forward chipotle mayo that I kept stealing for my tacos. My shrimp tacos had about eight medium shrimp inside EACH. They were very good, but I am a die hard corn tortilla person when it comes to tacos and these were flour, so I will move onto other things next time. I had my eye on a poke bowl too. I just missed soft shell crab season. This corn and shrimp chowder was the type that you might get at a high end NYC restaurant. There was no floury finish and the broth was silky with just the right amount of cream. I will be back for the New England clam chowder once the temps cool. Poke first! I am blown away by the prices at this place given the quality of the food and the location. Parking is hairy, but there are two metered spots, historic relics, that only take coins. Luckily, my ten year olds wallet was in the car and I was able to park for 45 min. (update: there is metered parking behind and some on the street next to it. The fellow working was a sweetheart as well and I love it when the employees are excited about the food. He recommended the burrito. (From Westchester Foodies on FB a 100% positive space of cooks and eaters. 17k and growing, but still feels small."

"I would not recommend going to Fiola Mare during COVID or after. The first thing I was informed of is the time limit at the table of 1 hr 30 min, which I thought was completely tasteless. I was celebrating a birthday and brought a cake with me to share at the table. I was informed that I could not cut or eat my cake at the table because things from the outside are not allowed. I thought that policy was ludicrous because literally people bring jackets, purses, etc in the restaurant, which are technically from the outside. Nevertheless, we pressed on. Our waitress was fine, she did her job gracefully and was very funny. We all ordered the lobster ravioli, which was $55. The dish tasted great but I think we were all shocked when we received 2 ravioli and 2 pieces of lobster. It was so tiny that it was more like an hor d'oeurve than a dish. It is criminal to me that Fiola Mare thinks it is appropriate to charge that amount for 2 lobster ravioli and 2 small pieces of lobster. I have no problem paying that amount for quality food but that dish was severely overpriced. At that point I did not wish to press on and order anything else. With the time limit on the dinner, I think we were all ready to go at that point. We all left HUNGRY and underwhelmed. It completely put a damper on my birthday celebration. For that, I will not return and would caution any one else to do the same."

"We will never be back. Where do I start....well Caitlyn (cream colored fuzzy blouse) told us she didn 't see our reservation for our party of 8 for 11am. She didn 't look anywhere. She didnt glance at a ipad or book. We just told her the name and she responded nope nothing under that name . Um ok. Strange. I called the person who made the reservation, he told me he would call to talk to her himself. The phone started ringing behind the hostess desk. It kept ringing. She heard it ringing and ignored it. Multiple times. She came out and flatly stated tables ready its right there pointed at the table walked off. No menu. No greeting. No apology for screwing up reservations. We sat down and ordered drinks. My father in law flagged down the waitress asked her how it worked . She pointed to a little corner that had two buffet tables in it. She told us that was the buffet. She walked off mid question to help an elderly gentleman never came back. We walked to the buffet and just saw 3/4 empty trays of bacon, sausage almost gone and powdered eggs almost gone. The potatoes and onions were not cooked fully. It was just half warm bland potatoes out of the freezer. My bf had bread toasted, toaster didn 't work (he had to toast the bread twice) then I noticed there was MOLD (green flecks) spores on the white bread. I left the moldy bread on thr table next to the acrylic bread boxes. The Only thing done right was the made to order omelette station. The omelette chef was very nice. Everything else was either almost gone and cold or inedible (moldy bread). No oatmeal. Just an empty hot plate serving bowl. All of us felt scammed. There was still 30 minutes until brunch was over. When we made reservations no one told us that. Why have brunch if you are closing at 11:30? That 's just regular hotel breakfast. I 've had better at Quality Inn. They lost our reservation and charged up $22 a head for the worst hotel continental breakfast I have ever seen. They even charged full price for my nephew who is obviously not a teenager. We didn 't get seated until 11:10 and then was told you have 5 minutes to eat before brunch was closed. What. We got rushed through the worst brunch experience ever. It was terrible. There was even a piece of holographic glitter on my nephews waffle. Where is quality control ? We got scammed for $217. Our waitress got her included $30 tip. She could have cared less. She brought out a coffee pot with horrible tasting coffee in it. Doesn 't taste like the advertised coffee purveyor at all. She brought out oj twice and that was it. After that she just stood behind the bar Staring at us. Moldy and glitterly bread ain 't it. Why quit working before the actual service is over ? I don 't think we should have had to pay attention all. . poor service, disgusting food."
