"We just moved to the area and have been quite disappointed with the level of hospitality and quality of Indian food at the desi restaurants we’ve visited so far.We actually discovered Garnish by accident while making our way to the Grange Food Hall next door. We changed our mind last minute after we looked up the menu and saw dosa.It felt like we won the lottery! My husband and I were blown away with every dish we ordered. The Mysore dosa was out of this world! So was the samosa chaat and bhendi masala. The decor and atmosphere in their restaurant is very tasteful, and inviting. But most importantly all of the people from the host to the servers were so friendly and hospitable. I haven’t seen this kind of warmth and accommodation in a very long time. We will definitely be back again soon."

"EXCELLENT FOOD SERVICE. Arrived at ~7:15pm on a Tuesday and there were plenty of seats (which is a shame), they should be more popular. since one person in our group was stuck in traffic, the staff kindly took our order and arranged to bring it out when our friend finally did arrive. Food was literally sizzling hot and steaming when it did come out. Everything tasted divine. Water was always being topped off. My friends and I met to catch up after 5 years of not seeing each other and the staff let us stay later even a little past closing time. They also helped us take a group photo and had their newly arrived party (of people they knew I believe, not new guests) move out of the photo's background. Definitely check this place out!"

"We have been in Indian restaurants in the UK and USA over the past 31 years. The Bombay Grill is by far the best! Our waiter was incredibly friendly, polite, and when the kitchen made a mistake (as they happened), our waiter gave us the choice to keep it together with the right dinner ordered. He even gave us extra Basmati rice for all the food we had now, Lol! It only took a few minutes for the right dinner and let me just say DELICIOUSLY worth the wait! We like our meals hot, but also tasteful and The Bombay 't disappointed. Great prices, excellent service and delicious food!"

"Their food has improved greatly! They may be my new favorite Indian restaurant in LA. We really enjoyed the sag paneer and the tikka masala- both were so..."

"I've eaten at the downtown location several times and have never had a bad meal there. I met a couple of friends for dinner at the UES location last weekend, and the execution of the dishes was not consistent. Those who ate chicken were very happy. Those of us eating veggies had small complaints. For instance, the cauliflower in my dish was undercooked enough for me to notice it. That said, the service was good, and the meal was very reasonably priced. I would go there again if I were in the neighborhood."

"This place has great service with a smile. The food came out quick. If you are looking for some authentic nice Indian food than This is the place to be. You will have a nice rice pudding after to wash down the tiki masala. It is a must try if you are traveling to the Griffith observatory. After a nice walk this place is 8 mins away. Come enjoy the atmosphere and peaceful room with great Indian food that truly hit the spot! Enjoy"

"This place should close. Worst meal I've had in decades. Had onion bahji battered oily mess fried in oil that was too cold. Gobi Manchuria what is this dish, battered cauliflower poorly fried covered in fake sweet and sour that is way too salty, disgusting. Kerman Nan garbage served in oil soaked undercooked dough with holes in it, no one should serve this. Fish kuorma and chicken jalfrezi cooked in the same bad sauce with little variation. Even the server couldn't tell the difference and called one vegtables? Pickles literally the ones you buy in bulk at food max. Can of sprite, unopened and dropped on table for three dollars. You couldn't pour it? Creepy guy in hat stalking tables seems like a clueless owner? Two young servers both kind and trying. Protein quality was decent, but ruined by preparation. I wasted my time and money. You shouldn't. Literally go anywhere else."

"Fantastic food and fantastic service! I had my birthday dinner there with 15 people and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The food was absolutely amazing. And they excellently managed to serve this big group (we had people joining us late and it was no problem). Without hesitation they let us split the bill the way we wanted to. And they offered me a fantastic desert for free! 10/10!!"

"Here are two different times I've Postmated an express dinner look at that consistency. Tasted great BOTH times; strong spice, large variety, and so satisfying. The samosas were also amazing. Excited to come here in person some point in the future."

"I tried this place on the way back from Santa Rosa, beautiful location in the hilly Mill Valley, with very limited parking, first I thought it was a North Indian restaurant, but after eating there I can certainly say that the cook is?t North Indian . The food was average, slightly overpriced for the small portion size, ordered wiper tikka, it was ok, chutney came in a really tiny container. Her Daal makhani and Kadhai wiper were okay, but not authentic, aloo paratha had turmeric in him and the basil garlic naan saw more like a Tandoori roti with a sprinkle of basil herbs not the fresh basil?. The masala chai was not completely boiled and was so bad for 4$ per cup?. The worst thing was that he gave us Basmati rice, which were not completely cooked, we thought it was free, but later he saw us charged for it, he also charged us for the onions and the green chilis, which is free in most places? and they needed a long time to bring the food? Don't you think I'm ever back?"

"The chaats are terrible. Papdi chat was missing almost every spice. It was bland and soggy. Barely taste any yogurt, the sweet chutney provided was more sour than sweet and lacked any hint of chilies or other spices. The Gobi Manchurian was like a giant tree of cauliflower (you do know that the cauliflower flower florets need to be broken down and then crisped) and soggy!! Surprisingly the flavor was better than it looked. The samosa chaat was decent not exactly gourmet butit had some flavors come through. It lacked the crispy edges of the samosas and it looks more like a potato patty instead of a samosa. It?s a aloo patty chaat instead of a Samosa chaat. I don?t know what to say about the vegetable biryanibecause they forgot to provide the biryani (and wanted me to come back in person to provide a credit or pick it up again). The Paneer was decent, nothing gourmet again. The cubes were soft but the curry was just downright average. Thenaan on the other hand was just simply undercooked and raw!!"
