"I went to brunch on Sunday. The buffet was not available, but the single portions were generous enough for three people. The prices were more reasonable. The atmosphere was calm, clean, and the food was delicious! I suggest trying the garlic naan, butter chicken, and exotic rice. The menu features creative and amusing names for the dishes. I recommend this place."

"By far the best Indo Chinese food we had in Omaha. We had schezuwan fried rice, hakka fried rice, veg korma and gobii manchurian, everything tasted delicious. Amazing chef’s, very friendly staff and good service. Would definitely recommend"

"have already heard one thing about this place and was curious to try, but was disappointed to discover that many of the well-respected dishes, like the tandoori escape and the goat mother, are no longer on the menu. what remains is sufficient, but hardly special. peat stew and okra side were decent, but goan meeres fruit curry offered dry, overboiled fish and the opening somosa chaat was bland. in the did nothing was especially spicy, including the dishes we demanded as spicy. points found for the piece ceramic in the chaat, which wait long to order, and the almost incomprehensible server. this place may have been especially on the opening, but it seems to destroy its offers to expand its appeal, which means it is just another Indian place in the neighbourhood now, but with higher trips and less appropriate execution. skip."

"First off the service was great! I love how I was greeted when I walked in this cute little cozy spot. After placing my order I walked around the market and instantly wished I brought cash!!! So many cute items, fabrics, jewelry and trinkets! Now to the food. That damn Tandoori chicken is to die for!! I swear I could it everyday! I haven't had it in years and ohhh the memories I might need to go once a week to get my fix. They give you soooo much I ate off it all day. Now the Vindaloo (I choose Lamb as my protein of choice) I wanted to venture off and try something new... NOPE!! Lol. I think I asked for the wrong thing; I wanted the item above it it has a strong vinegar taste (which on the menu it clearly states) my fat ass just saw ginger and garlic and started drooling. Now because I paid $4 extra for lamb I picked the lamb out and ate it the spice level and flavor was PERFECT, minus the vinegar To sum it up... I have definitely found an Indian gem!! This is my new spot"

"We were a party of four looking for vegan and gluten-free appetizer. We asked for suggestions and the server suggested the palak chaat. It's a unique dish with crispy spinach leaves topped with tangy chutney. We had not tried anything like this before. We liked it so much that we ended up ordering another serving.."

"I recently tried Indian cuisine for the first time and I was thrilled with my experience. The food was full of flavor, not overly spicy, and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender. I particularly enjoyed the appetizer I ordered and the presentation of the dishes was modern and impressive. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back! I wish I had taken better photos, but I was too busy enjoying the delicious meal."

"I can?t praise this place more. The food is fresh. Really really fresh. The portion is huge. I came here super hungry, but I couldn?t finish the lunch combo. The price is fair. The lunch combo is 14.95, and it comes with two entrees, one basket of cream butter naan, rice, pudding, salad, and soup. The momo was made to order, so it was really fresh. The stuffing is juicy; the juicy will literally flow out of the wrap if you are not careful. 11 dollars will get you 10 momos. A hungry adult probably can?t finish the 10 momos. The environment is tastefully decorated. The entire place has a delightful scent of Nepal spices."

"We ordered a meal for two that included dessert. My girlfriend was hungry so we decided to ask for the dessert later. When we did ask later, the waiter gave us a dessert menu and mumbled something before smiling. We thought we were choosing a dessert, but later realized we were charged for it on the bill. I complained to the manager about the waiter's incompetence. As a result, we did not leave a tip and will not be returning to the restaurant."

"What a wonderful little hidden gem. What the place lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for it with the quality of the meals. I had the Tandoori Chicken at a 5 and it was awesome. The heat was at the peak and the back, with a really nice build-up that had me sweating by the time I called for a to-go box. We ate with friends and the staff was very respectful, allowing old friends to catch up and share garlic nan, which by the way was fantastic.Would definitely recommend and I look forward to trying everything else they offer!"

"I ordered over the phone and picked up my food 45 minutes later. My order was wrong and had to wait almost 20 minutes for the rest of my food. There was absolutely no one eating there. I should've been in and out. Also the food is over priced. I wish the guy at the register would've told me how long it was going to take. I would've pd for parking or moved my truck. I got a $54 ticket. I know it's not their fault but it's the last straw and I won't be returning."

"Indian foods are usually a hit or miss venture, with mostly misses in this country. Again and again you find a place that is all that should be Indian food; that's this place. The food is delicately complex, cooked for perfection. Vegetarian options are phenomenal, like the chicken tandoori. The staff is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is good for most occasions. The next time we're in Richmond, we'll definitely stop here."

"First time back at Sitar since before Covid. It was a little disappointing. The food was average. In the past I would have scored it a 4 or 5 star but this time it was not deserving. Maybe next time."

"Indian Style Ice Cream tastes like Lysol. Soup was good but was mainly broth. Chicken Curry was really runny. Paneer Pakora tasted really good and the sweet sau was right up my alley. Mango lassie was pretty good"

"a few days ago (June 23rd 2021) I ordered hariyalı paneer tikka and this was supposed to be marinated in spinach based creamy sauce and what I was given was a paneer that was made in green food coloring it was awful tasting and not even cooked in the clay oven. I also ordered a kadai bhindi and this was not cooked properly with the bhindi being raw and again unpalatable. The lachha paratha was not a lachha paratha but just another fat uncooked roti which was doused in ghee. Finally the vegetable noodles has not a single vegetable except a few strands of onion. All in all a terrible meal for the $60 spent. Will never get food from this restaurant again."

"We went to the restaurant only to discover that it was no longer in operation. It was closed, and the neighboring people informed us that it had moved. As a result, we ended up eating at Fratelli instead. I believe OpenTable should still give me my 100 points since the restaurant was closed and no longer in operation."
