"Having been on a competition bbq team and being a certified KCBS BBQ judge, I appreciate quality bbq but am also a bit critical. The portions were liberal and the bbq decent. Enjoyed the simple hometown decor. I would eat there again. But burnt ends were over sauced and pretty average. Have not tried other meats. Loved the onion rings and fries."

"KC BBQ style with a sweeter sauce. Ribs were great. Unfortunately the brisket and burnt ends were chopped, I prefer sliced and intact. Baked beans are the best I've had."
