"booklets for 2 via opentable for 5pm several days in advance. the restaurant entered around 5:02 clock on a rainy day. the host appeared very unpleasant and immediately, we felt unhappy. before the reservation name and without word, he took menus and cutlery and began to foot in the direction of the bar seat area. when we sat down, a busser placed a bowl of cold tortilla chips and beautiful large bowl salsa on the table no greeting, no welcome, no smile. we checked the menu and waited and looked for who could be our server and waited. no greeting, there is no word there is a delay, no water. and 30 minutes later, nothing yet. I started to go to see the host or a manager (30 minutes after sitting) our server came and apologized for the delay. it wasn't busy. there were open tables. within a reasonable time we expect someone to greet and say that they will be in short. at this place, the experience took a lesson for the better, as the server was attentive and delivered a recommended cheese dip for the chips that was very good. Surprisingly, eating for an authentic Mexican restaurant this place was because an earlier visit in the 4th street location was more tasteful and a much, much better experience. overall it was a mediocre experience; it was overpriced for what the restaurant claims to offer."

He came once on his own and other times I had to hunt him down. That not the first time with him. the cuople of times i visited and happen to get him whch is 4 times. "Service at the restaurant was very good. The hostess was also our server as we were the first and only guests dining from 4 5pm. Lovely setting. Oddly, we were seated by the kitchen service door with staff coming in and out even though there was literally every other table available away from the door where we could have been seated. The Venetian Old Fashioned was very well crafted and I would recommend it. Silverware looked like it was from a school cafeteria; didn’t match, bent prong and covered with water spots. The house salad bagged salad mix with bagged shredded cheddar, cucumber and tomato was not what you would expect at such an establishment. The blue cheese dressing was good but served on the side in a disposable plastic container with a plastic lid. The entree was described as a crusted Florida grouper with pineapple salsa and orzo. There was no orzo to be found and the grouper was a very thin cut with a soggy breadcrumb coating, pineapple salsa and another plastic container with some tartar sauce. Our sides were the southern green beans which were largely mush and the smoked Gouda Mac n cheese which tasted fine but was cold. Finally, we shared a piece of chocolate cake which had a rich flavor though a little dry and hard. I hesitated to post a negative review in that I truly want to see quality local businesses flourish. Sadly, the attempt to be a fine dining experience missed the mark. That being said, they do have a pub and perhaps that is more successful and something I’ll try in the future."

"our waitress was very sweet, but the service was slow even tho only 3 tables overall at the whole place. bartender did her best, but was alone so hard to work to maintain. burgers were pardoned, but immediately fixed. müllpier was really good. the place was empty even though it was silvester. we often gedint, but probably not be back. "I always look forward to the prime rib at Jerico's as the highlight of my meal. It's the main reason why I dine there occasionally. The blue cheese salad dressing was mediocre and tasted a bit like a glass, but the wine servings were generous. However, the wine list is outdated and traditional. I was surprised to learn that at 77, I just barely made the minimum age requirement for entry! Despite this, the prime rib is definitely the best in town."
