"We waited 20 minutes for the waiter to arrive, only to be met with a lack of greeting. He immediately poured the wine before even taking our cocktail orders and forgot our salads. The dinner was just okay, especially considering that steak should be a highlight on a Restaurant Week menu in Kansas City. Unfortunately, our steak was mediocre. Despite already ordering dessert as part of the set menu, the waiter asked a second time. Multiple wait staff were observed talking amongst themselves, and a tall, gray-haired lady appeared to be confused and unhelpful to both staff and customers. While I understand that wait staff may be overworked and understaffed, it is important to maintain a positive attitude towards customers. This was my first and last visit to Blue Bird."
