"This is our favorite go to place whenever we are in the San Diego area. It's like stepping in to another world one of elegance and taste. The decor is lovely. The servers are friendly and very attentive. The food is scrumptious. The view from any location divine. We always try to sit in La Sala, the outside patio area overlooking the ocean in the distance. I would highly recommend the Mediterranean Room at La Valencia Hotel for a lovely dining experience."

"It used to be a treat and luxurious to go to La Valencia. The entire experience was a disappointment. The food quality was bad how do you make a lobster eggs Benedict both soggy and tough? Salad was soggy drowned in dressing. The live music would have been good at a Margaritaville."
