"I went to Barbara Pinseria on a Saturday for a friend's birthday. Overall, it was absolutely perfect for the type of experience we were aiming for very lively and fun, with awesome views to people watch, and the restaurant itself is very stylish. The main issue is the staff wasn't very attentive, and even though we wrote that it was my friend's birthday in the reservation notes, we had to go out of our way to ask/remind them for the birthday sparklers. To be fair, it did look like our waitress was covering all the tables, so they may have just been short staffed. For birthdays, they bring out a slice of birthday cake, dim the lights, pump up the music, and as mentioned, there are sparklers!! So that was super cool. The food wasn't piping hot as I would have liked, but very good fresh and flavorful. The portions are also pretty decently sized. When we got the check, we were shocked...by how reasonable it was! So overall, I loved it, and will definitely go back again and again."
