"(You don't pay a menu price) Tonight we have a casual dinner, that was my second time, and it was very disappointing. Exterior and interior decor is beautiful, but I would suggest that on new menus with accurate prices. The first red flag was when we sat at our stand table, it was a bit wet, I called an employee who was nearby (manager responsible) and asked if we could get an an anger on DRY the table, immediately answer it's Sanitizer ok I then want a dry sanitary table. The rest of my experience was subpar, I ordered my food and a cocktail (the ONLY cocktail that has a price in their menu 8) my food came before my drink. It was not busy, very few people at the bar, would say 10 minutes later finally get my drink. At this point can not wait to just go, I get my bill and I see I will be charged 10 for my cocktail. I notified my waitress and she said she would talk to her manager, manager comes by and gives me an unnecessary/overtrial excuse about inflation change from 1 day to another and how (his words) owners do not want to change menu 's because it makes too expensive and tape over it makes menus look ugly. (Personally id rather be notified of receipt of prices) And ended up using better quality than other restaurants and then FINALLY an insincere apology. I will end with it, other restaurant have exact prices on cocktail and food menus. So I think I'm going to go to these facilities from now on. Will never be back."

"There seems to be a trend in Pasadena of restaurants with these weird menus of pizza and tacos and sushi, etc. all under the same roof. This place doesn 't have sushi but it certainly is keeping up with the Joneses. It 's a chain or something, right? So the Philly cheese stake comes in the bread equivalent of a taco sized sandwich. The chef wasn 't from Philly, best I could tell. So I wasn 't expecting much, and boy was I still disappointed. There was cold cheese that was roughly broken up over the top of my sandwich. The bread was soggy and untoasted, the beef taste of freezer, and the veggies were mush, like twice thawed peppers. The stand out champ was the fries. I sent the sandwich back and said charge me for the fries, lol. They were good. The kiddo had a pretzel and, I mean, how do you mess up a pretzel? You bring it out with a flavorless cheese sauce that had been over whipped resulting in a broken cheese sauce. No problem, people won 't notice the texture. I did but the kid didn 't mind. Service was normal, we didn 't ask for much attention so our drinks were full and he was totally fine. No fuss no muss. Would I go back? Not on purpose, but we 're frequently trapped in that area for an hour here or an hour there. So, Maybe. The fries were actually that good and they have a diablo fries that I 'd be down to try. I dunno, maybe. I included the picture of the sandwich lol. It really had like, ZERO meat flavor Oh, also they had the house lights at full freakin ' brightness when we walked in, then halfway through the meal they turned them down. It was like 6:30 so it 's not like it was early. The sun was already down. I audibly laughed when we walked in. Thank you for coming to my presentation about my experience at the congregation house."

"my partner and i went on a weeknight. this was our second time, and the fact that we wanted to come back is a good indicator of our first experience. the place was PACKED and kept getting busier for the first half hour. we were seated promptly by Liz, who was really welcoming. we were disappointed that there were no booths, but happy that there were low table options for us shorties, which she accommodated, warmly. we got served the yummy, WARM, chips within 2 minutes, but the rest of our opening service was delayed. eventually, my partner asked Joshua if we could order. he immediately pulled out his pad and took our order. none of this: let me find your server stuff which seems to breed a certain style of competition in restaurants. he was so professional, engaging, and helpful as we ordered the chunky guacamole (sooooo good! , and split the pastor street taco plate (delish! . oh. and the chamoy margs! we ordered the largest size...one each. so, that is why this review is so belated ; Felipe came by a little bit later and apologized for the delay. he asked to take our order and we let him know that his colleague had put the order in. without a beat he smiled and offered to add anything to the order and when he left, he let us know he would be taking care of us moving forward. that 's when i knew we were being served by a healthy workteam. and an excellent primary server. everyone seemed to really be looking out for each other as colleagues while making sure we had a GREAT experience. Daisy was serving another table so she walked by a bunch, each time with a smile and a generous air about her. i eventually caved and asked her how people usually eat the chamoy straw...we both laughed when she said, 'exactly how you are doing it! ' at the end of our time here, and after amazing conversations with some guests, tasty food and drink, i asked to talk to the manager. Jafet came over and listened to my long, detailed story of a great experience, and asked for the names of everyone i was mentioning. i emphasized to him, that if this is truly a healthy team culture, it 's up to him and leadership to keep it that way. i feel like he already knows this. he was a really nice guy. on our way out, i checked with the workers i named here, and asked if they got some good feedback from their manager. indeed, Jafet came through. great! experience. i 'll definitely be back on the regular. especially if the workers seem well-cared for. and we can order smaller margaritas ;"
